URP, Books, and Back To Work.

FIrst off: an apology.  Last week, I said we would be posting a new update on Monday- that was a mistake.  Ya see - we’ve been posting on Monday for well over a year now.  However, over the past few weeks, we have been trying to move our update day to Wednesday.  When I concluded last week’s update, my promise of a Monday update was based on that old schedule - apologies if that confused anyone!

The URP conversion is 98% complete!  Unfortunately, converting the terrain took four days longer than expected, which included two days of touching up areas that were lost during the URP conversion.  As much as I rue the lost time - I know from experience that ANY chance to do a full review of ANY part of the game will ultimately be to the game’s benefit, as overlooked artifacts & bugs will inevitably be discovered & resolved.

I believe the final systems can be URP compliant and ready to build by this coming Sunday.  Taking into account the inevitable last-minute bugs, We SHOULD be able to attempt a new Mac/PC Playtest build by this time, next week.

In other news:  Books are now readable within the game!  While the cover art & typeface still require a bit of adjustment, this is one of those last systems that’s more or less Beta-ready.  Check out a video from Laura's whitebox here!

I’d like to type more, but I’d also like to get at least one more system fully functional within URP, before I sleep tonight.

Premium shipments resume tomorrow -  We REALLY appreciate everyone’s patience while we got these all sent out.  Almost 500 postcard sets went out over the previous two months, and more will be going out tomorrow, along with 25 overdue print/sticker premiums!
