DTNS September 2022 Briefing

Hey folks!

Wow. It is HOT. It was 109 Fahrenheit (42 celsius) here yesterday and the low was 83 in the middle of the night. I know a few of you have it hotter but not many. I'll be glad when this passes.

I'll also be glad when this economic scare thing passes. Whenever that is. This year? Next year? 2035? Who can say. In the meantime I'm extra appreciative of your support as we steam into the high holy months of product announcements.

Apple, Google, Amazon, Meta and more will all try to dazzle us over the next few months with the new wares. And we'll be here to tell you what's worth paying attention to on the broad scale.

We also should be getting some good news on the Matter standard. We're following the ever shifting chip shortage into a glut. And as always you will feel like the smartest person in the room as we bring you our no-BS coverage of things like NFTs, AI (which we avoid calling AI since there are so many actual things that term covers) CBDCs and whatever the next wave after TikTok is.
