Sarah's Newest Live With It Subject: iRobot Roomba 675
Added 2021-02-12 15:33:37 +0000 UTCHi everyone, Sarah here. It's time for another three-month Live With It test extravaganza! As usual your feedback and product ideas have been super helpful. We ultimately went with the vacuum category which has consistently been in the running every time we've asked. Time to clean the floors, my friends. Thanks for all the suggestions!
This should be an interesting experiment for me because 1) I have a cat and a dog, both of whom are triumphant shedders, 2) I live in a rather small space with a lot of angles and corners, and 3) I am very picky about my vacuums but I also dislike vacuuming.
Is the Roomba 675 the answer to my prayers? We shall see in mid-May, though I'll check in here and there before then. In the meantime please enjoy a small taste of Studio Redwood.

Haha, glad you like! If I didn't have my big studio space I'd have very little room for VR in my apartment unless I moved my coffee table every time... not ideal but I think it would work fine. Maybe that's an option for you? As far as the Roomba I'm definitely taking notes on what works and doesn't work so far. Its logic is confusing sometimes. :) - Sarah

We have no space anywhere in the house or garage that meets the minimum area. Looking forward to more on the Roomba. I have one for each floor and they really do a great job getting the floor clean while you do other things. The thoughtful design that makes cleaning it and replacing spare parts easy is admirable. Although, I would never again let it run automatically on a schedule as it would get confused and run in the middle of the night. Also, it found a cat poop once and dragged it all over everywhere!
