Ok tell me....

...has one of you ever managed to use superglue without getting your fingers stuck???
Every time I use it, I think 'I'm determined to not get it on my fingers'..... and then I do.... :)

I'm adding this little magnetic board to the Playroom and I've been LOVING the Snapmaker, I'm up to hundreds of hours of prints and it just is a beast! I wasn't quite sure how reliable the toolchanging would actually be, and I'm still not to be precise - it hasn't failed once in thousands and thousands of changes... it's really rather impressive!

Anyway, I'm full on filming for the Playroom video, so masses of little last minute mad ideas I'm adding.... as you'd expect... ;)

Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me.... Ok tell me....

Oh that's amazing!! (and hilarious!!) As a total aside, I'm going to do a fossil/geology video at some point - my son loves them, so I'm going to build a smart device to teach him everything!!!

I have a long, stupid history with superglue. I once managed to glue myself to the dishwasher. In my defense, I didn't have any adult supervision at the time. I collect fossils and they're often in weak or brittle matrix. One great solution for this is extremely low viscosity superglue, which wicks quickly into all the microscopic cracks and greatly strengthens the rock. I did finally learn to NOT hold the rocks while I did this, as that glue would travel right through and there I'd be - one old fossil glued to another old fossil.

Thank you. I've never thought about tools like this. 😘

I actually use reverse action (squeeze-to-open) pliers with plastic ends to add magnets to my prints. Haven't gotten any superglue on my fingers in ages!

I was looking at the U1 trouble is I already have 2 A350s I might turn those over to purely CNC and lasering.

Clever idea with the magnetic board

So long as you don't smack your forehead with the glue covered bit, you're fine πŸ˜‰

I don't know how to use any type of superglue without something sticking to something it isn't supposed to. They should call it super inappropriate glue. I'm definitely curious about Snapmaker's longevity. They could be the industry shakeup that Bambu initially was, you reckon?
