The World's Greatest Hobby Station! BTS #59

What up, mini family?!

This week has been something of a whirlwind. First and foremost, this week is the first week that my wife has started to officially work for me! She quit her job and is helping me with all sorts of tasks. On Monday our furnace died so we had to buy a new one (a few thousand down the drain), and then on Tuesday my cat died. It kind of threw a wrench in our first two days as coworkers. But, we persevered! So far she has done some accounting:

She's packaged up and almost sent out all the of the raffle prizes for the 2019 discord point system:

And she's folded a bunch of cardboard boxes in anticipation of shipping out the rest of the backlogged vampires. That should happen sometime tomorrow or Friday because the vampires should be arriving at my house by EOD today.

So if she's doing all this amazing work, what the heck am I doing? In one word: O R G A N I Z A T I O N. It would be too many pictures to show, so instead, enjoy this fun little cellphone camera vlog showing off my new space:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UT9hbwUTOU

There it is in full glory. Ready for a full year (and hopefully more) of shooting rad videos for you guys. Thank you all for supporting what I do and allowing me to have an amazing space like this. It would be literally impossible without you.

All the excuses would remain the same!

If your wife now works for you, will you redo your "Excuses to buy more minis" skit?

Sounds like a great dog!

Lots of love for you, and your wife. You two are amazing. I am so sorry about the loss of your cat. My wife and I lost her dog over three months ago. A month later though we adopted an American Eskimo rescue who is 3 years old. Pets are an amazing addition to anyone's life and we are very grateful for our dog.

Thank you, John ♥️

Thanks for the kind words, Arthur! Luckily our new furnace got installed a day after it broke. 3 days without sounds miserable!

Scott, sorry to hear about the family cat I've been in that situation, that can be a hard blow, wishing all the best. I have also had the misfortune of my furnace go out in the middle of a Minnesota winter (and of course the coldest week of the year). That was 3 days of scrambling and a little bit of worry not knowing if we were going to have the situation fixed to everyone's satisfaction. so here is to hoping everything is working out. PS I love the podcast that you and Jon do. Great synergy, you guys work well together.

Sending love for your furnace, but way more for the loss of the kitty. <33
