This is exactly how I paint and is pretty much all due to getting hooked on brush-lick blending from watching your stream every day. I was kind of glad to see that you started to encounter some of the inevitable fuck ups that come with this style of painting. I can't count how many times I've had disasters with some part of a model because the paint isn't behaving correctly on the model to be able to blend, either from it drying too fast or creating an uneven surface that's always a danger when applying a lot of layers of thick paint. When I'm getting frustrated it's too easy start franticly slapping and pushing more and more paint on to the point where it becomes impossible to achieve a smooth blend. I won't go into what happens then but i'll say it's the most frustrating thing to happen when I'm painting. I wish this style was more consistent, I just don't have the patience to sit and watch a glaze dry over and over again even if in the long run it doesn't take any longer, i'd much rather be active with my brush as my ADD dictates.
