Long time no see. I hope you all had a good holiday! I'm back to editing videos after my 1 week of rest and relaxation and I've hit the ground running. This past week I edited a video about my first time teaching a miniature painting class and all the things I learned about it and how I'd improve on my process for miniature painting classes. That video will be out this Friday. I also filmed and started to edit a video about how I blend. It's a full process video, nothing is left out. I set up three cameras to capture everything from licking the brush, to mixing colors, to painting the mini.
I blended a thigh plate on a space marine. My idea with this video is to reference it whenever I blend colors because I pretty much always do the same thing. This way, I don't need to include hours and hours of laboring over each part of the miniature and I can show just the good stuff while still delivering an educational experience as well. That's my idea, at least. That'll come out to you guys January 11th.
Other than that I shot a wedding for a good friend of mine. Here's the kit I brought with:
