The Departed was great, don't get me wrong. But to me one of the reasons Goodfellas was so great was because it's based on real life, while The Departed was not. However I agree with you about the quality of it and Fargo. I haven't seen Get Out, been meaning to. I liked Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, which was it's inspiration. So, which Scorsese do you think is best?🧟

2019-11-29 22:42:18 +0000 UTCI wouldn't say that The Departed is one of the best movies ever made. It was pretty good. Taxi Driver is a must see for any so called Scorsese fan. I know everyone loved Raging Bull, esp. the Oscars, but I only watched it once. Kinda slow. And I stand by Goodfellas. THAT is one of the best ever made. And even over The Godfather; it is the quintessential mobster movie. Sorry Coppola. "But what Jimmy liked to do was steal. I mean he actually enjoyed it. Jimmy was the kind of guy who rooted for the bad guys in the movies." (Sorry. I know that one by ❤️.)
