Taylor Swift - Midnights ( Til Dawn Edition )

Ok, I was going to cut out the ending but NO EDITS!!! so if you want to skip ahead and miss some crackhead energy, the official album reaction starts at 14:00 roughly...

30 - 30 is Taylor Swift - Midnights!

Comments

Have you heard her sing it on the Eras tour as a surprise song? Yikes.

Becky

I think you interpreted Sweet nothing correctly and the fans are the ones who are reading into it because of the break up tbh… Midnights is NOT a break up album, it’s an album where she is processing the fact that her relationship was dying, it had not completely ended when she was writing…that’s why there’s so much back and forth as well and so many songs about her past, she was processing things… she said it herself that her first breakup album after Red is TTPD… loved the reaction as always!

I've seen requests for Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version) and I second those. 1989 is my favorite overall album of hers and Speak Now is, I think, massively underrated. I do think, as you've reacted to mostly newer stuff, as you go back in time, you will come across more poppy stuff that may not be your jam, but just because the music may be more pop and the lyrics a bit less metaphorical, I don't think it lessens how great her lyrics and songs are. And yes, the album version of Karma is 1000% better is a JAM!

So happy you reacted to this. It’s an amazing album. I do wish Speak Now (taylors version) is your next taylor album ☺️ Watching you explore Taylor is so awesome. You are a great person to watch❤️

I love that you mentioned Righteous J And City of Sound!

Hearing what you mentioned at the end about how she lives a life none of us can comprehend but she comes across so normal makes me excited for you to go back to The Prophesy on TTPD whenever you get a chance. Put a pin in that thought when you listen to that song.
