A recent one that's really powerful (and heartbreaking at times) is Come From Away. Groundhog Day is fantastic musically -- Tim Minchin composed it, if you're familiar with his musical humor -- but I don't think there's a filmed performance out there.

The camera evens out after the first song, so it's not as bad for the rest of the show. There is a movie, but except for Les Mis, I don't usually recommend them over the original casts

That's why, when you do In the Heights you have to do the original cast video. I can send you a whole video of the play because Chris Jackson and Lin Manuel Miranda starred together in that one too and you can really see his personality come through

AND they were usually trading parts (eg., the king(s) singing the Schuyler Sisters). You may enjoy those. 🙂
