2022-11-13 17:37:14 +0000 UTCReading the lyrics again just stirred up the feelings I had when I was at lollapalooza seeing him perform, and the days following where I was overwhelmed with immense pride for him. To see him use his medium to express himself so well and openly... I'm just endlessly proud of him. That being said......I need at least 30 or more seconds more for each song!!!! Cause, I WANT SOME MORE ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Also, I'm sure others will point it out, but those visualizers are official ones! I don't think they have English closed captions though, so I see why they combined them all into one neat playlist video! Jhope really thought out everything for this release, the release party, the teasers for the mvs, the livestream walking us through the concept and ideas of the album, and the visualizers. It was so fun to experience it all

If you pay attention to the lyrics between this album and Hope World he uses references a lot, like you mentioned how he jam packed so much in the one verse. So happy you were able to react to this as well. <3

This is a masterpiece, and Hobi isnโt just BTSโs third rapper. He has such a unique style. Iโm rambling, but itโs impossible not to love this man!

2022-11-05 00:51:31 +0000 UTCThere is actually a cool video on weverse where he walks us through so much of the making, etc... of the album, mv stuff, merch creation etc... He explains so much in it. Would love to see you react to that video as well. Plus I think you would love getting to learn all the behind the scene details right from Hobi himself. I think it was an amazing idea to have him do that type of video and share all that stuff with us, personally.

2022-11-05 00:47:23 +0000 UTCWell first Hobi, himself said he had a hand in creating most everything on the album, writing, singing, rapping, composing, etc... And he said he even helped design some of the merch, he had planned concepts and ideas for the mv's, if I remember correctly. He created the album concept and had a hand in everything from the music to the colors of the merch, or of his outfits for the mv's, he truly had a hand in all of it, and that's exactly how he wanted it. He said he wanted the album to be focused around his story he was telling, his personal thoughts, etc ... that he wanted to share and expression through this album. So that is also why there wasn't any collabs or anything like that. He said that that was done on purpose, because he wanted the focus to be about the thoughts and feelings he is sharing in this album. The story he was sharing with us of his true and deep thoughts, feeling, etc...

Jhope always gives credit to other artists and some artist don't. Thats why Jhope is so amazing There is an R&B singer/musician singing on the last part of "Safety Zone" but I forgot his name.๐๐

Like Jung Hoseok was this element in a box and when Pandora opened it and called upon him to assuage the ills of humankind, j-"HOPE" emerged, leaving behind all the parts of him that weren't suited to this higher mission. A personification of an amalgamation of all the darker, more doubtful, more cynical bits--a Jack in the Box. And Jack just sat there in the box being wound up over time (as a Jack in the Box is) until it emerged with force. The album is a literal conversation between Jack and j-"Hope" who has returned to greet Jack, explore him, understand him and that conversation plays out literally in the album as j-Hope and Jack talk about the role of hope in humanity, the role of hope in his own life, and his role as an agent of hope. It's such a GENIUS concept. Like who thinks of that?? Ahh. Okay, going to watch now!
