Anyways! I've got an unfortunate writers block going on as I draft out Day 5.
Let's say you and YB are not getting along so well, and let's say you may have successfully ran out of that house of his and didn't die a slow dead in the woods.
You then find a clearing, thank god. but the clearing has two paths.
One seems to lead to a fire lookout tower that looks abandoned.
The other leads to a run down motel that's also void of life.
Remember: YB is out looking for you.
Which one do you run to?

However, having said that the guy at the front desk could be a 50/50 shot, he could help you hide and get you a room, or he could turn you away. If you do get a room the guy at the front desk could turn YB away or he could be paid off and tell him what room you're in and give him the second key.

Could be fun though, especially if Y/N figures it out, could allow for trap building and potentially finding a way to make the reception computer or phone work or something idk. I'd be happy just watching YB froth over the footage and allow Y/N some kind of false hope before he hauls 'em back home, but that's just me.

Depending on size it would be easy to hide in there unless this man has some fucking bloodhound tracking skills. Judging by the scenery of the game it looks to be early-mid summer, meaning you wouldn't have to worry too much about the elements. Make sure to find a water body that could likely have fish, and use your clothes as best you can for water filtration. Move about every day and make sure to cover any tracks and anything suspicious or otherwise clearly man made. Continue like this for up to two weeks so yb will have likely scanned the area multiple times, couldn't find you nearby, and now may think you've ran farther off the property. Once you're certain he's likely off in a distant area searching for you carefully approach his house and check for for the pedomobile. If it's still there go back to the woods. If it's gone, break into the house, take everything you can carry and anything valuable, basically everything you can grab, then run in any direction you want until you find a civilization that isn't near your old place. Find a local pawn shop and sell everything you've collected. The multiple computers will likely sell for a good amount if they're in good shape. Invest everything you've made into the smallest, most cramped apartment you can, preferably in a building with many apartments. Then you can live out your life, maybe changing your address every so often. Ooorrrrr you can remember that one Tumblr post from like two years ago where yb confessed to being lonely and depressed before he saw you, feel bad for him and come back, give him a hug and some Gatorade and live your life with the simp

Possible choices for weapons since the staff room might have a kitchen. I've played fire tower games and my fear of heights would never let me even think about it.

I feel he would know Y/N would head to the motel nearby and has set up surveillance somehow, somewhere. and if Y/N went to the fire tower, he would know Y/N is someone that knows a thing or two about camping/hiking/nature walks and he would know that they probably have some survivalist skills. even if it isn't much.. that bein said I'd probby go to the motel fo'any sliver of hope that someone else would be there to help lolol

You choose the fire tower and it would be an easy spot to get pinned in AND CAN YOU IMAGINE the sexy suspense as you hear his footsteps come up the tower steps and you have to choose… jump or wait to be caught

2023-10-31 16:51:23 +0000 UTCi would go to the fire tower, that way i could see just how deep in the forest i am, and you never know there might be a radio up there, if you go to the motel there are bound to be lots of rooms to hide in but you don't know if there are cameras, if it's close to his house he will probably know where the camera room is so he could easily find you, also look at it from his perspective, if you were chasing someone where do you think they would have gone?

So do I trust my guts and choose the fire tower where I feel more safe, or trust my head and go to the motel?....Btw don't stress yourself too much about your writers block, in my experience that only makes it worse, I am sure the ideas will be back in no time! ◡̈

They can be quite scary. Anyway Fire tower for me. As for the Motel, yb has already knocked you out. And carried you away in front of everyone in One path already (the route where he squeezes your arm, and tries to get you to go in the alley and talk. But you bet he won't hurt you because you are in front of a crowd but it ends up not mattering). So, cant really rely on people imo. Plus you are wanted as a possible suspect. Both motel and fire tower should definitely be options though.

2023-10-30 20:24:20 +0000 UTCI did choose the Motel since there is a lot of hiding space and resting, as well as easy escape routes, such as the window. There is also the possibility of an interesting ending if you decide to climb the Fire Tower. Since it’s the final day of the game, I imagine you climb the fire tower to find a radio, and you manage to call someone for help, but just before you can tell them anything, you see YB is at the bottom of the tower, enraged that you keep escaping and will not accept his love and about to climb up. You could find a gas jug and matches that is in the tower and since you literally have no escape from YB at this point you would pour the gas around the area threaten to burn the entire tower down if he doesn't leave you alone. But YB isn’t afraid of your threat and is willing to die with you, so there's no other way out and could give you 3 different actions to take. Either you burn up the tower with Peter and yourself inside, or you take your chances of jumping out of the window and land on a tree for safety as the building burns with YB inside, or if there are no trees, you fall and die from the impact. If you stall and don’t choose anything on time it would lead to YB leaping at you. Each ending would have a twisted outcome. A more twisted ending is if YB douse himself in gasoline, along with the tower or motel, and threaten you to come home with him willingly or he will burn the entire building down along with himself and you so they can be together once and for all.

2023-10-30 19:45:41 +0000 UTCHonestly they all feel like I might get caught XD The Fire tower is a one way road, your option to escape would be jump off or block the stairs somehow, but that's still just being blocked and given it's abandoned the stuff isn't 100% guaranteed to work. A motel is safer because it's still a place where you rent a room and you have your own keys but motels are usually the places used more by criminals and usually are not generally safe and it's easy to break in (following the old kind of motels of course, or the Classic TV motel in thrillers, or motels in general to be honest) but at the same time it's easier to ask for the owner to call the police, there the phone will work by default. So even if both feel like bad choices that will trap us the motel feels like the safest option XD

The motel has many hiding spots and provided you stay on the 1st floor, you can escape! Mind you, Peter could easy follow… but that’s a different Issue.

It's very tall, and in a moment of panic or desperation who knows what could happen? Realistically, I'd also pick the fire tower because there might be a radio or emergency supplies, and maybe even a flare gun you can use for self defense.
