So, we are curious on this one. . .

First off, we have a big update coming for you all real soon!

With that said, some of you may have noticed that we are pumping out bigger updates as more time goes by.
But, with this said, we started to wonder. . . Would you rather

Have frequent game uploads with small updates?

or

Wait longer for a game upload and have more updates?

Comments

NOOOOOO small updates are better for inpatient people :,)

Coco

I'm so glad there has been so much progress since last year! It's always exciting to come back after a while and check out all the amazing work that y'all put in this game <3

BestCat0

I don’t know if that would ever happen because of the coding that they would need to do to have it available on iPhone because of how different the mediums are between computer and iPhone, ya know

Tiff

Make game downloadable on iPhone please😭😭😭

HeyItsJay

I know i'm a bit late but i'd love to wait longer for bigger updates!!

DovelyBoy

I'mma be honest I am patient and don't mind waiting, gives me things to be excited about while I invest my time into other stuffs. I really enjoy the day 4 update that I recently played with house exploration and just want some fun time with Peter :D

sarah

Have no issue waiting longer as long as you can be honest about the actual wait time with your paying patrons. “Soon” seems like it can easily mean a whole year waiting. It would just be beneficial to get like a “1 or 2 month” time frame etc when giving your little updates. And if you genuinely need a year? Say that.

I believe that longer and more detailed updates could be well-received by people if they were supported by a greater number of development logs that provide evidence of tangible progress being achieved. Rather than simply mentioning that progress is in motion, showcasing specific advancements through these logs could enhance understanding and foster more positive responses from the audience.

There’s a mixed opinion for both options. I'm more into the Small updates since they're really useful in case you want to show previews of how the gameplay is going to work out. They also serve as a way for players to report any bugs or glitches that they find throughout the game so that you guys can fix them. The slight downside is that people would get impatient and leave constant messages asking when the next update will be released. The bigger update is a decent idea. As well as showing how each of the playthroughs will go, it could also introduce a lot of bugs like that infamous Don death stare, or other bugs that could take months to fix which may make people more impatient. Day 4 seems like it will be the most active day with more features, animation, music etc then the other days and we don't wanna rush you to complete the game. All I can say is take breaks whenever you can, take your time updating, and let's all look forward to Day 4.

Tulip

Would much rather wait a long period of time for a bigger update. Makes no sense to add small ones if it’s going to burn you guys out having to update back to back constantly. What I will add though as a small suggestion is maybe add a save/load function? It’s a bit tiring to skip the dialogue constantly when I want to play different endings. Overall I still love the game and beanpole Peter, just make sure you guys take frequent breaks! ❤️

Lumii

i want you to take as long as you need to make this game as good as it can be, rushed games are never as good even if you do get them faster

Amanda

I would rather you guys take all the time you need to make this game even better ^^

Gojirin

all I want is a save option, it's a bit ridiculous having to fast forward thru days 1-3 at this point. Can you prioritize this?

castleheart

The bigger the better ^_^

Jamarian Cleveland

He probably feels the same way

SnowyDeer (CjVick)

Honestly, take all the time you need. As long as we get a nice update at last.:)

Viva

I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer if we're going to get a large update. Just sprinkle some character lore like some of those Tumblr posts or some webcomics in between waits. Just keep in mind on save states and text rollback (and an actual skip function when revisiting saves, the current one is fine as is but needs further tweaks).

Jay

Wait longer. It helps keep the game fresher (rather than when a big milestone is reached it feels more like we’re just seeing what drips we already got) Nlt to mention that without save data? It gets tedious to go through all three days to get to rhe smaller new content

Cinnamon Roll

Bigger updates please, at least until you add a save/load feature like others have suggested. It’s incredibly frustrating playing old days over and over for a few minutes of new content. Idk if I have missed it before but has the lack of save feature ever been addressed? It’s pretty standard for visual novels so it seems odd that it’s missing.

Vael

Seconding this. I love my golfball husband more than anything, but having to replay everything is very tedious and somewhat irritating.

Ash

I would really like bigger updates so I don't get caught up in the intrigue in the story

joke_106

Quality over quantity 😌 I do have a question, do y'all plan on having more explicit intimate scenes? I don't mind either way but I'm just curious.

Nightbreaker

Yeah, having a save/load fuction would really help

I'm going to have to go with longer for bigger updates on this one. I'd be more up to frequent small updates if simply a save option would be added because, I'm sorry, but I'm getting VERY tired of going through Days 1-3 over and over and over again. I'm really burnt out on them after running through most, if not all, options. Yes, there's the skip option, but it's still a pain to go through all of that. Especially only to receive a few minutes of added content. I'm sorry to complain, but it's just one suggestion I'm really hoping you guys will consider cause it's just not as fun as it used to be. If anything, it's starting to become a chore to have to keep going through the beginning...

Sarah Thies

I need more goth Peter lore. I simp for him. >.<

Taco Fiend

Just curious if the voting is for the game and posting on patreon or just the game itself? .

Watashi_DM

I'd rather wait longer, but with more updates, it seems more practical on both sides.

NogoPongi Z

That’s why I said in the “final completed game”.

V

Right now if they keep updating the game they can't have a save feature without your save data incompatable so it'd cause confusion i think

Sena-EU

Ya'll are crazy. I've been so nervous waiting for even the occasional doodles or memes or even mini comics. I don't know how most of ya'll have the patience for bigger updates within a couple/few months's time!!!

StarySkye

I’d rather y’all just give us monthly mini comics showing personality traits of the characters & release the final version of the game when it’s ready and completed tbh. Plus add a save feature to the game plz

V

I think waiting for something bigger is always more exciting!! Keeps the hyperfixation going longer!! Can't wait to see it!!💜💜💜

princeimaginates

I know more people are pushing for more game uploads, but it’s nice to get a small updates on the game or just like hear what the team is up to. I personally enjoy seeing the pictures and seeing small posts about what you worked on any given day. I really appreciate that (I actively enjoy the development of the game more then the game itself to be honest…) and appreciate how accepting you are of just allowing people to see Peter how ever they want.

Nia Bothwell

I think better will be wait longer and do bigget update BUT still regular post on patreon. In every platform is MUST to post regular cuz people will get bored or find other projects to support. You don't need post spoilers of game, you can post sketches or comics pages before day 4 will be finish. What I really recommend is schedule your posts! You know, that you can post now something but patreons will see it in next week or any date you decide.I do it like that with my patreon.I finish beforehand 1 season full of 100 comic pages in week but I scheduled/planned them so that my patreons will see it every week so I can take rest or start new project but my patreons doesn't notice cuz they see my pages regular every week so they don't know.Is one BIG PLUS about patreon that you can post things beforehand and then have time to spare.Idk it helped or if I explained it good.I think fans will appreciate any fanservice from you.For example,I miss comics where is little of YB life or other characters. And updates can be small text or avatars.

Natijx

never rush, take as much time needed!

Sparky111000

Damn, why do I ALWAYS choose the least popular poll option. Oh well, I would rather more frequent updates. But it doesn't really matter

Lmaaoo SLICK-kitty a.k.a PussyCat

Take your time! Yall've been doing so good with the game so far, and I'm looking forward to updates whenever you release them. Plus, bigger updates means more time with the characters!

Jayson Hays

I say bigger updates instant of small updates. Give time to breath and focus and won't use too much time and energy to make small each updates from time to time so BIG updates for me ^_^

MyAnimazing

Def bigger updates! 🌸

Danny

Considering there's still no saving system, I feel like I'd get bored to play the same content to get a bit of new every so often.. Plus redownloading everything would be tedious. So, I'd choose bigger updates with longer wait,,

Chaotic Fello

Ik oml😶

Tiff

I love big things so…. Big update!!

Esthelita si

Yeah, I agree very thoughtful as well hah

Tiff

I think longer weights and bigger updates are more sustainable and better and I just think it would be better for the team and prevent burnout

Casper S.

FRRR😭

S Ddcx

So drop feeding or big updates?

Existingcurrently

Damn that’s kinda a hard choice lmao
