Release date/time, Trailer, Bug report and Version

Hello,

Macro Micro VR Service shall be released on, February 22nd, 2022, at 22h22 / 10:22PM (GMT+1)

[EDIT]: Sorry I do a mistake on the release time. That now updated!

I was planning to publish a trailer displaying the game’s content and gameplay, along MMVS’s release, but I did not have enough time to make it happen as I chose to focus on fixing bugs and polishing the game itself.

I shall still create a proper trailer but later, as well as advertisement on FurAffinity’s website when v0.4.2 is released.

Regarding bugs, please refer to my previous post, linked below:

I also opened a public GitHub repository where you can create issue tickets when encountering bugs and glitches during gameplay. This will help me fix them and allow you to follow my progress.

Game version names

The version names for the Macro Micro VR Service games were never truly clear and even I ended up confused and unsure when incrementing the versions. I will take advantage of the upcoming update to set up a specific pattern when updating the version’s identifier.

The version that shall be released is v0.4.0 - Alpha. It is not version 4 (a mistake I made with v0.3.0 - Alpha), neither is it a Beta.

- The first number shall be treated as a Major update. Here, it is 0 as I am far from adding all I’ve been planning so far.

- The second number represents big updates, where I add a certain quantity of consequent features and a certain amount of content. For example, v0.4.0 shall contain plenty of new features and content.

- The third number is incremented then applying bug fixing, small updates or small features. For versions 0.4.1 and 0.4.2, I could name bug fixing, more insole-related kinks, and the nano environment.

- Pre-Alphas are unstable versions meant to be tested privatly and to receive feedback, to look for bugs and glitches, etc. These versions aren’t to be released to the public. I am currently using v0.4.0 - Pre Alpha 15 to this purpose.

- Alphas are more stable versions with elements that shall be added. May contain bugs, but is playable. The game also is not at its finished state and more features and content are planned.

- Betas are near-finished game versions where no big update is planned. The game is on its final development phases.

I hope this summary will help understand how I do versionning for MMVS.

There is a chance that the description and meaning of this versionning may change over time, but I will keep you updated if I do.
