Thanks, Summary of 2021 & what’s planned.

It has now been a year since the release of Macro Micro VR Service v0.3 in January 2020.

We (Benoît and I) take this opportunity to wish you a happy new year, hoping that you had a happy holidays!

The game has progressed well, but not as fast as the last version since most of my time was taken up with my job. As planned, towards the end of February my contract will be finished and I will finally have the time necessary to get started full-time on my projects.

Funding

Thanks to your Patreon donations during 2020, I received $6,695.27. Thank you very much for your support! In addition to this I was able to save on my income with my work and my additional projects.

This money will be used to provide Benoît and I with minimum security for one year in order to work on our projects.

Of course, to continue the following years we will need a minimum income per month in order to be able to live off it, to pay business expenses, and to therefore make this profitable. This takes into account all of our projects.

In order to maintain our editorial independence, we will also continue to work on other projects alongside our Patreon projects.

Our projects

From the end of February, we will start publishing more regular posts until the release of MMVS v0.4 which is now scheduled around June/July 2021.

We will make small animations in the style of A Bad Step [Link removed for Patreon Guideline] for the publication of new characters from v0.5.

The development of the animated short film “Macro Idiot Gaming” is still on hold for the moment, which we will surely resume after the release of MMVS v0.4.

Communication

We will also take advantage around the beginning of March to update the Patreon page and its tiers:

• $5 Access WIP and Credit
• $10 Early access (games, animations ...)
• $20 Superior credit

You will be added to credits starting at $5.

For those who wish, donate $20 or more and you will be added as a special credit.

Of course people already in credit will not be removed.

The Early Access will be reduced to $10 but will remain accessible for much longer only for those with the Early Access tier.

We will also do a lot more communication with our community, so we invite you to follow us on our social network: Discord, Twitter. We will also be doing more formal newsletters.

• Many WIPs are always shared in the WIP channel on our Discord.
• Several WIPs for teasing will be shared on Twitter and other social network.
• Animated videos will highlight some points of the game or characters.
• There will be trailers for the publication of new versions.
