I also want to say that I am glad men are supporting this game. You guys are awesome and will definitely change the stereotypes for visual novels. Like... A person who is extremely tall and strong should have more of a chance to be even in a hand-to-hand struggle with Y/B.... It would be really cool if there was an update in the future where viking build gay/bi men can be treated more realistically and have different scenes. For example, if Y/B tries to grab you from behind in the night it would be neat if there was a brief struggle that required Y/B to pull up an even more dirty trick to incapacitate you. Even if the flowers are the main plot point... The scene could be made kind of funny. Maybe he gets you a spiky cactus or succulent since those are trendy and actually kind of cool. You could name the plant even.

I think it might be an interesting add-on. It sounds like the creator is working avidly. With the flower thing, you do have the option to reject the roses... But it would be nice in a later update for you to say that you appear "feminine" or "masculine". I have a gay friend who would prefer to be viewed and treated as feminine.... I think we just need to patiently support and see if this is an option for the future. Remember... A lot of the main fanbase for this game will be women of all orientations. I can sense the creator trying to make Y/N gender neutral.

I haven’t played the game in a while so I don’t remember exact quotes but I just really got vibes from him of being treated like a girl. Since Y/N is supposed to be the player character, I find it strange that he would see me, a big hairy guy that only presents masculinely, then want to buy me flowers and call me darling and stuff. The way he acts can be for any gender yes, but I still feel like he treats Y/N like a girl. There’s also the fact that Y/N’s bedroom has pink heart wallpaper and stuff. And yeah a guy can have that but they would probably be a feminine guy

I mean, I can't blame them for missing the pinned post. Some device (like the phone) usually skip some post and go lower to other posts making it look like it's the newest post, also the pinned post at first glance doesn't look like the game link for majority of the new people. If someone has been there for longer they would know better about it because they saw it be published instead of joining after it was already published. If you read the start that say "Another link" not everyone will think of it as the game because most people that aren't in the Patreon don't even know about the fact that the game isn't actually complete yet neither of the various issues that they are currently trying to fix. Majority of them probably thought that the game was already completed and the pinned post at first glance doesn't seem like the link to the game because the title doesn't say game so they "ignore it". Well, not everyone but I think that some people were probably just confused

Also, when you are able to play, just be aware that day 3 is bugged out so it changes your name, choices, etc so we are still waiting for that to be fixed.

Once you sign up for the patreon, I guess it's like a "wait list". You can try to open the game every once in a while, but once those 1-2 weeks are up and you're still not able to play there's a button up at the top of this page that says "message". Click that and let them know when you signed up, what your email is and leave it up to them. It's been a long aggravating process for a lot of people but it's worth it.

If I'm understanding correctly, you don't need the demo in order to play all 3 days. There's a link at the top of the page that allows you to download the game with all the days. But since you're new you have to wait for your email to be added to their database before it'll let you in. Usually this takes between 1-2 weeks but if you're still not able to play after that you can direct message the creator.

For me it’s more the lack of communication about how things are going. Even if making the game was completely stalled, a monthly update detailing how development is going would be nice. Day 4 taking longer makes sense. Not only is it a new environment (new backgrounds, cgs, script etc.) but it's also gonna be more exploring involved inside his house. So that's gonna be a whole nother beast to tackle code wise. I honestly don't mind and am stoked for it. I'd rather it take longer and get the proper treatment then be rushed.

100% this summarises my thoughts as well. Having a satisfying 3 day narrative without the immersion-shattering 1 path Natalie glitch right at the end would be a good way to keep people interested and probably would generate more patrons. I'm willing to wait longer for the product the devs feel is their best effort, but if Day 3 is just ignored in the meantime it'll be quite frustrating.

I think the reason it’ll take so long is because day 4 will be pretty long. we will be going to a whole new environment so they have to draw new backgrounds, have to write the new script, possibly new faces/poses for Peter (or other characters too maybe) and since peters plan is unraveling there would maybe be certain scenes like when Lucy fucked us so inverted might draw those too adding to the pile would be the fact making games is hard as shit

I’m not mad at the release date. Games take long time and their team isn’t the biggest. I’m fine with that. However, what I’m very concerned is that day 3 is STILL isn’t fixed and buggy or fully done for what I have seen. And in between while fixing the game there is merch, comic and other stuff. For me if they tend to release day 4 this late. I hope they fix day 3, and day 4 being a bit longer. For me I just want my money to go to the game. Which I would like to be at least playable.

i think the long release time can be broken down into how we’ve seen the quality of each day gradually increase. day one was a good prologue, various paths you can take but still relatively simple for the premise. then, as day two and three come along, we can see how they’re writing in more detailed scenes and paths into each day. the team behind the game is adding so many new things, like paths, new sprites, new characters, and animation, and still working with voice actors as well. so i feel like we should cut them a little slack on release times. plus, they’re working with an indie team, not a company, so everything takes a bit longer.

More than a year for a fourth day? I really hope this is one hell of a good addition to the story, because this amount of time to release a single part of a graphic novel is kinda crazy to me. I love the story so far, the art is great, and the canon plans for the future are promising, but I’m a little annoyed that comics and merchandise are being made when we only have barley an hour of actual gameplay; not to mention, day 3 isn’t even FINISHED yet. I’m hopeful for the game’s future, but more and more skeptical. No real hate, I just wanted to release some frustration on my end and wanting to see if others feel the same.

I didn't realise at first but yeah... it's already spring so winter 2022 is still 9 months away, if you count December as the first month of winter. That's a huge contrast to the monthly updates we used to get. Granted, the more complex a game gets with how many different outcomes and paths it can have, the more time it will take.
