to be fair you can be tall and have a higher voice. Not everyone I have met who is tall has had a deep voice. It's uncommon but not impossible to have a lighter voice. There is also a difference between head voice and chest voice. If he talks more in his head (more through nose and upper register) when trying to seem friendly his voice could sound higher.

To be fair, he only has the deep voice in Yandere/TryingToBeSexy mode. When he speaks normal, he sounds kinda like this. He's supposed to be an awkward dork, right? It IS weird though, because the auditions specifically emphasized they wanted him to have a deeper voice because of his height. But at the same time I remember thinking "He doesn't look like he'd have a deep voice, except when he's being a creep". OR.. to the ladies, when he's being "sexy". lol But oh well. It's probably just hard to get used to because you have another voice in your head. You'll get used to it.

I know people are talking about his voice being higher than expected but honestly I personally think it's ingenious storytelling. This voice comes off as sweet and harmless which makes the violence and gore emotionally more impactful. It really fits the character and his attempts to disarm you so he can worm his way into your life.

Yeah..lol. if you play it and look at is default images in the game like when he has his hand his pocket. It seems to start to work more the more you do it...lol at least for me it does. Also if you turn it up all the way, you hear a quick gravely kinda chuckle grunt at the end. And if that's how he sounds when his horns come out, it does sounds quite seductive, and dark. That gravely way of talking I think is the key to making it work. I think what they're going for is more of a decepticon Peter. If Peter's default voice is cheery and almost dorky. It will intentionally make him even more deceptive. Some of it also could be that all of us keep thinking about devil Peter while looking at him subconsciously. Throwing us off more. Overall it's going to take some time though to kick the voice I had in my head of him out and replace it with this one still.lol
