I think it's a little odd that no one that there wasn't something said about this before donating even though I'm more than happy to help its extremely unfair..

why the hell are people using minors as a justification to put weird antipiracy/anti leak stuff on the game? it's not the creator's responsibility to gatekeep their game from minors, its the parent's responsibility. and it's not like a minor can't make a patreon account with fake details and use their parent's credit card. this whole thing has been executed very poorly especially hosting the game on wetransfer and the manual email database that stops paying patrons from accessing the game. i will be cancelling my pledge and waiting until the full game comes out.

Fuboo is doing her best and trying to find a way to give us the content we came to support her for without letting people play it for free that aren't supporting.. it's donation.. 🤦 I thought it was cool that the link expired after so long because of people 'sharing' too much, they will just have to put up another one with an updated email list. Fuboo isn't being irresponsible, she's trying to be responsible by keeping minors out and not letting freeloaders hijack the game. I appreciate everyone being supportive to her and being patient. Basically, WeTransfer stores transfers up to 7 days, then the algorithm behind the service just deletes them. It's the type of mechanism that allows for file sharing services to automatically manage space usage :/ The situation is a mess though. This information is easily accessable in 'help' or 'rules and regulations' section of the WeTransfer website. The game's dev hasn't read on the core mechanics behind the services WeTransfer provides. Which is pretty irresponsible.

It is a shame that those who only just recently joined the Patreon listing cannot access this yet, its been a few days for me and I still cannot access it with my email. I don't at all blame the owners of the game for these complications, I blame the minors and others for not being respectful of the simple rules put in place. I think having to whitelist the emails of patreon members is a really cool way to prevent a leak of the game. I just wish there was an automatic way to get whitelisted, like a database or smth... I just hope I can get whitelisted soon :(

If you are a new patreon you have to wait for your email to be whitelisted. This is being done manually by the creator and may take a day or two. The whitelisting process is to ensure the game cannot be leaked and accessed by non-patreons.

hey, so I don't know if it's my laptop, but after I log in it gives me the trigger warning for the game, but then nothing happens afterwards. Just a small thing! When i click reset, restart whatever it doesnt start the day or the gamw over it just kinda load the end of the previous day and freezes for a bit. The only way to do another route is to close and reload the game completely

Idk if this helps but when you access the website link, it'll look like a random website that prompts you to accept cookies. Once you do accept, check the bottom left. There should be a panel prompting you to choose 'I agree'. This will give you access to downloading the zip file. After which, open up the zip file > Build > YourBoyfriend.exe (right at the bottom). You will be prompted for your patreon email and the password. Type in the same email you use for your patreon account and the password as: HelloDarling This should allow you to play the game. :0

Thank you for the new link! I didn't experience any issues with downloading and accessing the game. I do like how there are some new dialogues for days 2 and 3. Some of the new dialogues did catch me off guard lol (Like when Peter drugs us at the end of day 2, before he used to say "I'll see you tomorrow, darling" I was surprised with him saying, "Let's get you back to bed, love." Kind of sad that we can't play our gear daddy for the time being, but nice touch of 4th wall breaking. It doesn't glitch as much as much from the previous link/download.

i think it's because we aren't on patreon long enough and our e-mails aren't "registered" yet. Pretty many people (including me) have the exact same problem, even if we write everything correct. Annoying but nothing we can do for now, i guess we need to wait for the programmer to update it or smth

Im not sure if it counts as a bug but after ending day 3 and pressing "restart": it sends you back to the main screen but either the van noise or the ambience song keeps on playing when taken back to the title screen. And after pressing play it skips fully day 1 up to day 2.

Ok I found two bugs. One where the game just stuck with the "Enjoy" screen at the start. Then I had once that I couldn't skip dialog in the second day, now I had that the "skip" button seemed to be constantly pressed even when I didn't click it. No idea what triggered it. But thought it be good to know. (Reaction to the Van scene: How dare YB I am talking to you!! I seriously want actions be able to take to determine that sometimes one can dodge his manouvers. The need to backsass his ass grows)

If you get into the van one day 3 and have the engine rev sound go (I don't think you can avoid it) it plays normal, BUT if you restart that day, the engine sound plays constantly till you hit the restaurant scene then it finally stops

By the looks of it, its seems to be all by chance with the opening screen. I exited out 4 times and got different part from each such the just black screen, then to frozen by the view discretion, to frozen from the options screen and finally i got to name the character then it froze again. now I past the naming protag and finally getting to play. Just keep rebooting and exiting XD Its been a struggling process for everyone. I can't wait to see the finished product when all the bugs, issues and glitches are gone. ^-^

so,i already said this in spanish responding to another post,and in early day 3 game link but,i'll say it again,so,well, it turns out that I also have problems with the game, but I think it is because this version is made for a 64-bit operating system and I have the 34-bit Windows 10 Pro, when i try to open the game windows basically tells me that ''this app can’t run on your PC'' and it tells me that I should consult with the software publisher,and of course I can update the system from 34 bits to 64 but, that needs a clean installation, and that would basically entail making a lot of fret which, the truth is, I don't neither have the knowlege,nor have time to do, and it is not to despise the developers or creator's effort from my part, since honestly both the game and Fuboo have earned my affection but , just for a visual novel of a sexy and stalker grey ball, it is not worth doing something like that, that requires time and to a certain point effort, taking the risk of making a disaster and permanently damaging the computer and losing valuable information, because although I know how to use a pc quite well, I am not an expert in the technical fields of it, if you understand me,anyway,i hope there's a 32 bit version for windows soon

Download it first, it'll compress. You need to have a Zip app in your PC to uncompress it. Then install the files that are "app", after that enter in YourBoyfriend.exe

I think the method they have chosen is because it's safer. Requiring a patreon email means that if a leak happens they can track who it is.

I feel really stupid right now. I just found out about this game four days ago and it immediately caught my interest and I ended up downloading the demo for the first day. Sadly on the day that I ended up finding out about the game, the original link got taken down before I got a chance to check out any of the other days that were currently available at the time. I felt so excited when I saw the new link that just got posted a few hours ago and I ended up downloading the link that was provided. Right now I'm a little disappointed because after I downloaded the link and tried to launch the game, it wouldn't work. I think if a " How to video " on how to set all of this up step by step was to be shown to me, then I could just follow along. I was born at a time when you wanted to play a video game you had to use either a disk or game cartridge in order to play the game. Now that most computer games are no longer doing that anymore, all of this extract file and etc stuff feels like rocket science to me since I wasn't taught how to do this in school or by my family and it also doesn't help that I'm not tech savvy either. Sorry if I went on a huge rant I just wanted to express how stressful this is for me and I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's having this problem. I wonder if maybe I should just wait for the full game to be released and buy it instead of going through all of this stressful work. ( It really does not help with my anxiety when I get overly stressed out! ) Anyways thank you to anyone who took the time to glance at my message. I felt a little nervous just posting this onto here since I normally don't respond to public messages like this unless I know the people I'm talking to. Thank you for putting the link out again. I was lucky with not deleting the file so I always was able to play. It's a smart idea making the password, perhaps weekly the password should change and only release it to Patreon so even if someone attempts to pirate it again, it won't be successful. I have a windows laptop and it sends me to samsung we transfer page?? It says to download the file so i did and there's no way to open the file? Shouldn't it just be sending me directly to the game i'm confused please help.

For the people having trouble getting into the game, go to your profile, go to edit settings. When you scroll down you should see the mail address that's used for your Patreon account. You need to type in this exact mail address! So no caps if there are none in the mail being shown in your settings. I did that accidentally since I normally use capital letters in my mail and that didn't work, I think Patreon automatically gets rid of capital letters so keep that in mind! Hope this helps!

I already solved it, for those who cannot enter, even if they believe that they wrote their email perfectly, I recommend clicking on the circle of your photo located at the top on your right, then go to the "My profile settings" section and copy your email from there , then paste it into the game, that worked for me since my email is without capital letters but in patreon it appears with capital letters I don't know why, but that solved the problem for me, try that.

You can check what mail is used on your profile and then edit your account. When you scroll down you should see the mail being used.

It worked on my windows and I just started it up will edit if any bugs etc Okay I'm back, first time loading up it did crash when asking for my name but after the second try I got it to run fully no bugs etc and holy sh*t I won't spoil but it was amazing!
