I definitely agree. I do feel like their voice does not fit them, though I did already have my own headcanons for how characters sounded and Tristan was heavily unexpected. Their personality annoys me a bit unfortunately, though I do believe if given the right plot they do have potential. I get that not all goths are monotone and such, but I definitely just feel like this strays a bit from their design. No hate to the VA, of course! It's not their fault or anything and I really don't hate them.

I feel like maybe an Ennui from td style voice would fit them better, the voice just doesnt match the face, and their personality thus far doesnt give me much to go off of ig, I can see them being another therapy-type character which this show already has enough of. If they arent an early boot then I hope they get written with an interesting plot/personality as to not waste the design.

This is the one time I’ll disagree. Aiden is far cuntier—in the sense that he’s much more no nonsense and those traits are clear in DCAS and the end of DC2. Tristan feels a lot more like a pacifist, and overall just softer? Just because they have dark aesthetics does not make them remotely similar, and I like that both of them are different!

I can find myself agreeing with that to. I find some parts of their design strange, but I've always loved the gothic clothing style (as I dress exactly like it in real life). Though I definitely would say I could see the age thing as well. I'm glad someone actually agrees with me on Tristan as a whole. They also really didn't sound like how I'd expect them to, which isn't directly bad and I definitely don't hate their voice (genuinely no hate or malice towards the voice actor, they're doing their best and I appreciate them for it), though it certainly didn't help. I'm really hoping they'll get better as they go on, because I do want to like them.

I agree, but for me it was less they were cringy and more the design kind of makes it hard for me to take them seriously because it's way too over the top. I saw someone on twitter say that Tristan looks both 18 and like 60 or something at the same time which kind of sums it up for me. I don't have a problem with gothic characters but Gwen and I guess Scary Girl's designs were way less ott than Tristan's.

I'm not sure how to describe it. I just don't feel as connected, and at some times their lines kinda made me feel a bit cringy. I really do hope I like them and I feel bad for this but I don't really like most their character so far. The design is so cool and nonbinary character this season really does make me feel appreciated, but I do see them as the weakest in my opinion. They're also my least favorite strategy wise. Thank you for not judging me, though :)

I love them so far, but im more excited to see them in action in the show and interactions with the others :) They definitely dont sound like as I thought, I was expecting them to sound somewhat like Kai. I like this voice way better though. (I already saw they're voice reveals on X but figured I would js mention it here) Assuming they'll make late merge or early merge... Anyways, can't wait!

Yeah. I think they are one of thr main protagonists of this season. I would be quite suprised if they have a love interest. From the official poster for season 4, I’m guessing they might be in a love triangle between Ivy and Zaid or just platonic. I'm looking forward to see more of them.
