Even though Riya was mainly pretending; all the dark stuff she did made the finale anticlimatic; a twist yea but even Yul was a better character. It’s my opinion, also i didn’t really want Jake to win but after Grett being eliminated, it was just kinda a better but predictable finale (unpredictably not always is a good thing, cause many characters fell unfinished and robbed) Anyways, Riyas plot dragged too many characters with her, Jake also did that too ngl; but she literally was handled pretty bad on the last 3 challenges. How did she get the 10 gems, Connor went back on his word saved Riya just to get injured, Jake and Ally (mainly her lost IQ to inflate her) fell for her bs. I don’t consider her a bad character, I just think another villain should have won (even Yul, like make him get sued or sumn to lost the money) . Probably Grett or gabby or even ally. Anyways, I’ll still support the community! This was just my opinion.

I can't wait for TomJake to come and I'll be able to see their spinoff next month I hope that next season will be better even though I am not happy with Riya winning Jake should have won in my opinion.... We had a great ending to this series as well since Jake and Tom are officially back together I was crying tears of joy when they were kissing! I hope to see more of these characters in future spin offs even though they won't be competing anymore I hope to see more of them! I give this season a 7/10! I'll always love Jake no matter what and i'll always smile about him no matter what! I was rooting for him ever since the start of the show as well and I am soo proud of him for making it this far and I am soo proud of him for his accomplishments even though he lost he won Tom's heart and all the advice his friends gave him worked and he gained a lot of friends throughout the series! OddNations you have worked soo hard on putting all the effort in this series I hope we will get to see these characters again!

This ending was fantastic! - The whole season, Riya sacrificed everything and everyone to win the prize and look what it got her in the end, she ended up being alone again, like Rosa said. Looking back, Rosa's words were foreshadowing, even Miriam and Connor's words, she sacrificed everything and in the end, she won, but now she's alone and miserable. I also love the detail "OH IT WAS ALL AN ACT" and Connor saw right through it, he was right all along. The ending with her crying was just perfect. - The ending seeing how everyone ended off was great. I loved seeing everyone happy and moving on, and CONNOR GOT MARRIED!!!! Good for him, he bet on the wrong horse and the man moved on, I wish him the best, Connor is a great man and deserves wonderful things. - You know you didn't deserve to win when even Kristal is like Good job Money doesn't buy you friends. I think Kristal wanted Jake to win in the end. - Jake just, bravo!! You took the lose well, and you won in our eyes my friend. You did a great job!

He didn't win but he win in life : people likes him, rooting/cheering for him, got himself a lover, friends who cares for him, etc. And Riya is like Chick Hicks : she won but had no friends nor people who support her.

You really did surprise me with this finale, it was a fitting end for Riya & Jake as characters. Despite my issues with Jake I found myself surprised that I was kinda happy for him by the end of the show. I wish he didn’t take Tom back so easily but I’m sure the spin off will address it. And Riya being alone was fitting, I was one of the few people ok with her making finale twice but I can’t help but feel a bit bad for her. I hope this isn’t the end of her character. I would love to see how she’s navigating life after the show. I do think tho that Ellie & gabby should have gotten their 100k cause they quit once their job was done. They still participated to the end of the first part of the challenge Huge props for the voice actors & animators. The season looked its best. If say it’s a soild 5 or 6/10 but that’s not a bad score for my standards I just can’t put it higher than seasons 1&2 Ok that’s all I wanted to say, bye

You may not agree with what I'm about to say, but I think it worked incredibly well and poetic justice is beautiful. Connor finally got to move on from Riya (and even found someone new) and even became a father figure to Jake. Riya got the money but at a moral cost and was left alone but her journey to seeing the light began. Tom gained emotional courage to face his fears and insecurities and he and Jake finally began for real. Ally got her confidence back and she proved her mother and her haters wrong. We might not have seen Alec adopt Fiore but at least they're in each other's lives and Alec was able to start again. Grett gained self love and real love through friendship. Yul actually showed a slither of humanity after rightfully losing his reputation and all respect (the podcast will be controversial but it's a format he could probably excel at). Even Ellie, I never thought I'd say this in a million years but I'm proud of her, she finally saw the light, realised the negative effect the prospect of money had on her, and saw that it's love and support that really counts. Sure, I might never forgive her for victim shaming but it's good to see that a change has come and with that, the rest of the world can give her a second chance. All my love to every character, writer, director, actor, animator, etcetera. You did us all proud

2024-09-07 22:13:50 +0000 UTCAlright now for full recaps starting off: - Tom's confession to Jake was so cute and I was honestly so proud of him for finally getting his words out, what I didn't like though was that Jake was going to forfeit?! I wasn't rooting for him, but I would never want to win by a forfeit, it just doesn't feel right. -Riya's scream almost scared me and when she legit pounded Jake in the chest, I swear I was seeing stars. And then that last minute shove, and then seeing the others, I thought it would've been Jake hanging on by a thread, thank god it wasn't. -Riya winning, but Jake winning the knight was honestly best case scenario for me, and I couldn't be more proud of them. - Seeing how Riya tried to approach Connor off the bus and chalking her actions up to acting was honestly hard to watch, especially when Connor pointed out how that excuse can't be used anymore. -The posts were honestly so heartwarming, seeing everyone's experiences outside the game, I especially liked seeing Tom and Jake at the chinses place, like FINALLY! Also seeing Connor got married?! How long was this time jump?!? -In the end, even Riya had to acknowledge how her actions caused her to be alone, and that all she has to show for it is the very thing she swore in season two to never do, to pretend to be someone else. -I honestly can't wait for the next season with Derek and Trevor back as hosts, I'm just hoping season 4 can make up for what season 3 failed to bring.

My theory for the DCAS winner and ending was correct, that she was gonna win but at what cost. Even if she won, i feel absolutely horrible for her… even if she got what she wanted, everyone left her because of her actions. She is alone again, the only one she can turn to is Eeysha. Rosa was right, even if she wins the money- she will be alone again… and that’s what happened. Riya’s character really builds into “money can’t buy happiness” AND WE FINALLY SAW A BIT OF WHAT EEYSHA LOOKS LIKE??? I was expecting her to be like 5 or 6 years old! She looks a lot different than I expected. I’m pretty sure Daniel’s a child, considering that drawing that Alec had in season 1 looked like a kids drawing. As you also predicted, Riya’s victory came at a price: she’s all alone and dissatisfied with it. Maybe that phone call with Eisha will provide her some solace. I’m extremely proud of Connor for moving on from her after the game and for managing to get married. He truly deserved that. Bravo Connor! The montage of the contestants giving their farewells during and after the bus trip as well as their social media posts was the true highlight of the episode. If this is truly their final appearances in the series (sans the upcoming spinoffs) I’m completely content with that and can move on from them. 🥹 I knew Kristal would have Trevor and Derek host Season 4 and Oliver is giving a mild hint of working with them, which I wouldn’t mind. I also hope Marcus and Nina return in Season 4 as well. As much as I look forward to seeing Trevor and Derek co-hosting again, I prefer Kristal as the host and I’m going to miss her. 😭 Grett hugging Ellie goodbye warmed my heart as did Fiore resting her head on Alec’s arm with Alec even smiling at her. Of course I can’t forget the sight of him placing her on his shoulders and the two of them sharing a smile during that moment. Looks like Alec has taken a job being her tutor at her boarding school. Good for them! 👏 Finally, bravo to Jake for taking his loss well thanks to the encouragement of Ashley, Ally, and Tom. He’s proven to be the true winner of the game after all. In the words of Kristal, “money can’t buy friends”. Thanks to this, I’m actually a little more excited for the Tom-Jake spinoff.

Not only cause the eliminations were sad/bad, but also some of them/the actions other people made these episodes didn't make sense (Particularly Gabby's, Grett's and Ally's episode). It's fine if you want to have a villain/someone we wouldn't expect win, but don't give the certain characters extremely strong plot armor or dumb down some of the characters and their decisions. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed and mad.

What she said to Connor and the Jake and Tom Series coming up, I think Riya is going to do something so bad to Jake that he will be permanently injured, with the Jake and Tom series focusing on life after and adapting to this new life. Riya ends up winning, but even Krystal isn't thrilled she wins if she seriously hurts Jake. Riya ends up being alone in the end, with no one celebrating with her and everyone focusing on Jake. 2024-09-05 14:51:57 +0000 UTCI think Riya winning actually sets up a more interesting ending - she won the money, but destroyed her own reputation by giving the fans what she thought they wanted but going way too far, whereas even if Jake loses, he finally has a group of love and support he can truly rely on, if not potentially a boyfriend in Tom as well (I think it’s 99% happening but could still see a scenario where Jake rejects Tom). I think whatever happens in those final ten minutes, Jake is going to be considerably better off in the end.

I’m proud of Jake for staying more focused on the challenge than his romance with Tom. He’s really grown. Other highlights were Alec, Ellie and Gabby quitting being Riya’s helpers as well as Fiore and Alec helping each other out. Fiore flipping Riya off put a huge smile on my face. Kudos to Hunter and Tess for cheering Ally up in the beginning and Derek TOTALLY trashed Emily. Burn! Connor’s warning to Riya was commendable but a waste of time. Finally, bravo to ONC for using a colosseum to fit those MANY Patreon members. 9.8/10

Then we found out her main objective which was to help Yul be this perfect bf/icon in the public eye just for her to end up getting fired by both Yul & Krystal (once she found out about Emily helping the contestant). She built a friendship with Trevor, giving him relationship advice etc just to have her betray him in the end. Now she’s going to prison after trying to kill the contestants? She betrayed the people closest to her, put her own team members in dangers who are trying to help her win. Now look no one is rooting for her not even Ellie who was willing to play dirty for that money in the beginning and she literally doesn’t care. Gabellie is my favorite ship, and this episode just sent that bar all the way up! All rise for the queens! - Another amazing point was Alec and Fiore, I swear seeing Fiore run to see if Alec's alright was so wholesome, and Fiore flipping Riya off was priceless! -When Tom was making that "confession", I swear I was cringing so hard, and then Ashley comes and I just burst out in laughter, she is a riot! -Connor's last attempt to get to Riya was honestly sad to hear, because he still has feelings for her, and she's continuing to push him away and it breaks my heart how lovesick this man is. -One thing I was surprised is that we indeed got a Jake and Ellie scene, even if short. I do hope they can mend their bridges in the spin-off so we can finally close the chapters on these guys for good. -With Riya and Jake tied at two points a pop, I don't even know who could win at this point, but Riya needs to temper that flare of hers and not get riled up, cause trust me, seeing how emotions can take over people has screwed people up so many times.

I don't want either Jake or Riya to win, so I don't care about the outcome at all, and I know many others feel the same with what happened last episode. Surely there's only a couple mins left in the actual episode and then there's the shoutouts. So it can really only end with either Jake or Riya getting the last point. Jake winning makes this whole season feel like a Jake lover's fanfiction and Riya winning is just unsatisfying because she's not as good a character as you writers seem to think she is, she doesn't deserve the win.

I love her, and I think it’s obvious that she’s my favorite character and the fact I’m rooting for her. As much as fan service exists, Riya did lose last time at the final 2… there’s a bigger chance of her winning now. In my opinion, she’s gonna need that money. After season 3 ends, Connor will most likely leave her and she’ll have nothing. I have a feeling there’s still a bit of her past self inside of her, even if she has too much pride to admit it. When the cameras are on, she feels the need to cause action, to be “presentable” and to be like the “main villian.” It stresses her out in a way, considering all the eyes and judging on her and because she’s slowly but surely losing the people that used to care about her. But at the same time, she remembers what her goal is… money, fame, WINNING. She obviously wants that, but it is worth it losing everyone you love? Everyone that used to love you? As Rosa Maria said, “You may win the million, but you will be alone again.”
