Oooh thank you for the context! Yeah honestly I was surprised ABO got made given some of the crackdowns on gay authors. Sad to hear it was taken down but I'm happy it got made and we can still watch it ❤️

2026-02-15 09:46:34 +0000 UTCThe reason for the spike in views starting with episode 4 is most likely due to the fact that it was taken down from several Chinese/Asian streaming platforms, due to censorship, after the first 3 episodes dropped at once so most likely viewers redirected to continue watching after that. Also, the slow pacing is partly due to the fact that the series was initially supposed to have 24 episodes, it was limited to 16 after filming had already started, also due to censorship. Thought you might want to know. Also this is the first of it's kind, meaning it's the first true live action omegaverse ever, globally, it literally made history while setting standards and you are witnessing history in the making in this respect. Thought you might want to know what you actualy chose to be a part of and congrats for the choice you made. 🙂👏 Also a historical furst, XingQiu (the main CP) are the first official Chinese fixed BL couple with a 3 year contract and their official fandom name is Starcups.
