Comin’ Along Nicely 🤗

Hey folks, how’s everyone doin’? Hope you’re all good!
Right then, here’s another peek at how the new setup for Medieval Times Season 3 is comin’ along, plus some of the new bits it’ll have:

1 – The Map

So yeah, brand new map! I’ve set it up in the code so it’s way easier to track where Bennett is on his adventures – it all works with just two images now, which makes it lighter and smoother to run.

2 – The Bio (now the Hall of Fame)

We’ve revamped the whole section into a simpler, more useful layout – no more buggy window switching!
The info shown is mostly the same as last season. If you’ve got any cool ideas for stuff you’d like to see in each character’s bio, pop it in the comments!
Just like before, the bios will unlock as you meet and chat with characters throughout the story.

3 – Language Options

Now you’ll pick your language before the game even starts – helps avoid errors and confusion.
Right now everything’s still in Spanish (my native tongue), but soon it’ll all be translated to English and German too.

4 – The Gallery

Fully redone – much comfier and easier to use now!
It’ll be scrollable instead of having loads of pages, and each slot will show a moment from Bennett’s journey, clearly titled.
Once you click into a slot, you’ll be able to see all the pics from that scene.

5 – The Card Minigame (you're gonna love this one)

So, Bennett won’t be workin’ at Nemerion’s brothel anymore.
Instead, we’ve got a card battle minigame – kinda like Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh. If he wins, he’ll get either money or sex – you’ll choose that in a betting screen.
You’ll find this game in the village tavern, with three new challengers each day, just like the old brothel setup.
It’s already working, just a bit basic for now – but if you lot enjoy it, I’m planning to expand it: stuff like building your own deck, finding new cards during the adventure, trap cards, and so on. We'll see how it goes!
