Angel cuts off his employees heads. He’s doing his best to control the evil and actually has done more with wolfram and hart than he did at Angel investigations. Buffy unleashed superpowers upon all the women of the world including the mentally unstable ones. Essentially creating a huge problem.

Thing is though, they never asked him why. Or about his policies like firing most of the most evil clients or associates, even killing some of them. Yeah, hem made a deal, but it's not as simple as him selling out. Also, burning down the firm wouldn't solve anything. That would arguably make the slayers look worse.

Yeah. Really, the Scoobies weren't exactly the paragon of virtue in the last two seasons. Makes it jarring that they don't acknowledge that thinks aren't all black and white. Or that they can't show a little professional courtesy to someone who helped out with their final battle. At least, presuming Andrew was telling the truth.

Christopher Parker

Well at least this episode made him realize he was wrong to be remorseless for killing her.

Great reaction. I love the conversation with Spike and Angel at the end. As much as I miss Cordy I do think adding Spike to the cast has given the show a different dimension with the Spike/Angel relationship and their past. The next episode is a big one. 100th episode hype

SundayRundownAngel Love this reaction as much as the episode itself. Especially the end scene between Spike and Angel. It really builds on and explains the two different dynamics between these unique vampires. Spike was basically just enjoying himself, doing what vampires do. He sought the glory of killing a slayer as a thrill. While Angel reveled in the sadistic side of his torment. Which to me, explains why Angel is so much more broody and has such a guilty conscience. Contrast to Spike almost seeming to have a similar personality before/after getting his soul. Love your reactions and comments about the complex, evolving relationship between Spike and Angel. Buckle up. You're now in for the best stretch of episodes in the Buffy-verse.

Such a good ep but the Andrew bit at the end is a little annoying. Nobody in the Scooby Gang even knows really about Wolfram & Hart except for maybe Faith. Why all high and mighty when sometimes you have to do questionable stuff even as the good guy. Like Buffy having several murderers on her team - Spike, Willow, Andrew, Faith - even Giles killed a human before. Seeing Team Angel as dumb and naive for believing they can change the system from within the lion's den is totally fair but actually viewing them as collaborating with real evil? Out of character for me.

Spike didn't forget about Robin, he simply didn't know that the Slayer he killed in the 70:ies New York had a child. And even if he would have known he would for obvious reasons not recognize him since he had grown up from a small child to grown man.

I think I did. All is well though! It works. Ty!

Navi Rawat did a great job portraying a psychopathic killer. She did this show in the middle of her run on The O.C. and right before getting her big break on Numb3rs.

I mean, yes and no. On the one hand, angel is a force for good and is trying to use the resources of w&h to enact positive change in the world. On the other hand, Angel has joined forces with the ultimate evil, constantly makes compromises, and turns blind eye to evil happening in front of his face. Angel basically sold out. Sure he did something to help save the world, but that doesnt counteract all the bad that is happening on his watch. Like if this had happened on an episode of Buffy, it would have meant angel went over to the dark side and needed to be stopped. TBH he's lucky all he got was a lecture and not an army of slayers burning w&h to the ground.

"we were victims too once" always gets me :'(

true spike wouldn't have the patience, it feels creepy just writing that, angelus was seriously messed up

Macs

Angelus, yes, Spike, probably not. Not because he wasn't evil enough, but more because it wasn't his style. As they put it at the end, Angelus was in it for the sadism, and Spike was in it for the thrill.

Maia Brodsky

have you tried the website as well?

The Normies

Angelus would've absolutely done those things to Dana, maybe Spike would've have too, they were legendary monsters, I really like this episode for many reason. Both to show once again what the 4some were capable of, but also the logical conclusion of what would happen once you awaken all the potentials. Some of them would wake up in this sort of situation, wake up in a nightmare and what happens when a Slayer gets her powerup like that?

Macs

Can't believe you guys are halfway done the final season already. It's sad but super excited to see you watch the rest of the season. It's soooooooo good.!

Dana was psychotic though. She also killed and maimed people. One being Spike. Not her fault, but she couldn't really be handled with kid gloves. Also, maybe Angel and his group deserve some courtesy of respect after he gave Buffy the amulet for Spike. But then again, chances are Andrew was lying because Giles told him. Either way, that was kind of messed up that they more or less caused the problem and Angel and the others had to fix it, but give Angel a speech instead of gratitude.
