I was thinking that as well. Whoever directs this show is an absolute genius. Also, I heard they actually directed the episode *around* the Requiem of Silence OST that plays at the end of 15, which is awesome

2021-12-20 23:43:55 +0000 UTCI know right? The ending of that episode kind of reminded me of the yikes episode where Rem died in his arms, and his head toppled over, and we got the beautiful score that slowly rolled in the credits. Love stuff like that so much.

2021-12-20 09:32:49 +0000 UTCI can't actually decide if I *enjoy* watching this show. I feel like I'm in pain or sad far more often than I'm not, but for some reason it's very much worth it. That ending was so beautiful, and his VA absolutely killed it again. I had the same reaction as you did to the rabbits, lol. Can't believe episode 8 went from THAT to such an amazing conclusion. As for Garf, I believe he kept Subaru alive with the intent to release him after Emilia cleared the trials, because, while he thinks Subaru is a dangerous Witch Cultist, he knows that he'd be making a LOT of enemies if he got rid of Subaru.
