#SUNDAYRUNDOWN VOX MACHINA. Yeah my boy pat sees those Cersei Jaime Lannister vibes, she got mad jelly when her brother is thirsting over that plant dork. We also get some vax none too pleased with Percy macking on his sister. Personally I also was shipping Percy with keyleth at this point, just a couple of dorks who looked like they are awkwardly fumbling through love. The entire campfire scene is an absolute delight, keyleth saying go to sleep is one of the darkest and funniest things in the show, then of course you have Percy being the party pooper cause every party needs a pooper that’s why they invited him. Still a name on every barrel of his gun is cold as hell, but it does have one blank barrel that makes you wonder who it’s for. Oh and on the vampire front we do see in episode three Delilah does have a reflection so she is not a vampire just a necromancer, Silas is the neck romancer.

Yes, Pat and Navi on the Severance couch. I love their "ethical discussions" from Cobra Kai.
The world needs more people like Navi. So morally balanced and ethical.

#SundayRundown Severance. LMAO I love Pats take on the Severance Procedure!! I've also conversated with friends about this before and heard some great perspectives. Another way to think of the innie and outies work/life balance is replace the 'work' aspect with, maybe a Gym or shopping at a store? Imagine if every time you walked into a gym your 'gym version' -your innie- took over. They have no memories of anything outside the gym. You -the outie- are using them exclusively for literally the gains. All your innie knows is working out. They can't sleep/relax, they can't watch tv or eat dessert. They are literally stuck in the gym their entire life. You, the outie can and do benefit. You can have cake and eat it and relax but not your innie...

#SundayRundown TLOVM -talks machina: yeeah so for C1 and C2 they did have an after show called Talks Machina. It was hosted by Brian W Foster, who was Ashley's fiancé at the time. Unfortunately a couple years ago, Ashley had to file a restraining order against Brian and some very scary info came out about their relationship. CR subsequently scrubbed everything involving BWF that they could from their catalog, including all of Talks Machina. Clips still exist, and there's a google drive link out there with all the episodes, but I'm very supportive of CR getting rid of everything with him in it in support of Ashely. - Keyleth embodies the "can I pet that dawg?" meme in this episode lol - Yeah horses are often collateral damage in DND. In CR C3, they exploded a goat T_T It was really funny tho - The Ashari & Aramente: quickly, the Ashari refers to 4 druid tribes based around elements who protect elemental rifts in Tal'Dorei. Each tribe has a leader, who completes their Aramente to prove their worth essentially. Specifically Keyleth is a member of the Air Ashari. - camp stories: everything but Scanlan's story actually happened in Campaign 1 - Calm down Pat lol. Vex is looking out for her brother cause she knows Keyleth doesn't have her shit together, like she said earlier in the episode when Keyleth lost control of the fire and burned Vax - I'm fairly positive the names on Percy's gun were inspired by Arya from GOT's list but I need to double check that, it might just be a rumor that I read. - The infamous sun tree moment! Matt Mercer, that's still insanely dark my guy lol. - Yes I am writing novels lol.

Sorry that the word gaslighting is your personal Joker to your Batman. The word will not be misused in your presence even for the sake of a joke. Also I'm 31. But I'm done arguing with you I get on here to enjoy the normies and the community not to be preached for how I use a word that is some Gen Z lingo anyways.

I wasnt talking about someone living a happy life with their family. I meant people living a terrible life on Earth and wanting to off themselves and encouraging suicide.

1. If the severed person is considered one individual, and their "innie" half repeatedly says that they want to leave, then they are being held against their will while in an altered mental state. The "outie" half does not know what happens to the innie, and cannot by any stretch give informed consent for being held.
2. If the severed person is considered two individuals, then they have murder included in the employment contract: unless the outie plans on working literally until the day they die, then they *will* kill the innie by retiring at some point in the future.
3. "We are all 'trapped' on this planet against our will until we die." This is such a weird analogy, as if someone living a happy life with their family is equally as trapped as someone locked in an oubliette with no hope of escape.

One I wasn't corrected two I can reply as many times as I want it doesn't mean anything three I'm not the one that made a paragraph long message being aggressive trying to explain to me what the word gaslighting means it was literally a joke because they joked about it in the reaction. You're acting like you're L and you're discovering a secret plot or something

Mmmmmhm. Sure. The fact that you did a DOUBLE reply and got super defensive and butthurt about it shows that you were not, in fact, joking. There's nothing wrong with being wrong. But popping off because you were corrected is just kinda sad.

Just telling someone they're wrong isn't gaslighting, my dude. Now if they had lied to her and told her that she was making things up and questioned her sanity, THAT would be gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of manipulation. That isn't what they were doing. Like yeah they were mistaken in thinking Delilah is a vampire but just because they were mistaken doesn't make it gaslighting. In order for something to be gaslighting, it requires the specific intent to mislead and manipulate someone in order to confuse them and make them question their sanity.

It's okay Navi your right their gaslighting you she is just a human dark Mage not a vampire if you go back a couple episodes you can see that she has a reflection in the mirror unlike her husband who didn't have a reflection.

#Sundayrundown Severance.
Either the innie/outie is one person or its two people.
If its one person, then it isnt slavery. It is one person deciding to spend 8 hours a day at work, like most of us.
If it is two people, then ending the severance procedure kills the innie. It would be murder/suicide. Should we condone suicide just because a persons life is bad? Or do we encourage them to make the most of the life they have? We are all 'trapped' on this planet against our will until we die. Does that mean we should kill ourselves?

Also Talks Machina was the original Critical Role Aftershow that started late in campaign 1. They would do deep dives of the episodes and answer questions submitted by fans. They had a GIF, fan art, and cosplay of the week in which the winners would get swag from the cr merch store or items from wormwood gaming. It has since been completely scrubbed from the internet due to the extreme controversy surrounding the host Brian W. Foster. It's not my place to air out other people's dirty laundry but if you Google Brian W. Foster Controversy you can read about it for yourself.

#SundayRundown-(vox machina)Ah yes, The Sun Tree Moment. One of the most infamous moments in CR history. The cast has since said that this is the moment they realized that Matt was NOT fucking around and these Briarwood people were DANGEROUS. Originally the Briarwoods had also hunted and killed a bear to string up next to the people as well as the other member of vox machina that we don't talk about, Tiberius.
Marisha was the first person to realize the people were supposed to represent Vox Machina, waving her hands and saying "no no no noooooo!" She then made Sam realize it who was the first to actually say, "it's us??"
Twitch chat was also EXPLODING with many people thinking it was Percy's Family before we finally heard the descriptions and realized who it was supposed to be. That was even the moment for me when it went from being simple entertainment to, "Oh wow, this really is something special."
There are some pretty cool Table to Screen videos that show it. And having the end credits only feature the creaking of ropes was just chef's kiss.
All of the "worst monster you've ever faced" are canon events that happened in the campaign except for Scanlan's story.
Youre going to hear some critters tell you that the name of Percy's Gun is "The List", but don't pay attention to that. That is the name it was given by the Critter community but Percy has never once called his gun The List. It was always The Pepperbox.
