But Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, wrote a letter to Kubo to encourage him to continue the story. Thanks, Toriyama. 🙏🏽

This never happened again or before, Johnny will always try and pronounce it the way Morita does it, this is just the one time fans will latch onto because it was the last time Bankai was said in the anime when it aired in 2014 until 8 years later(it was 10 years later for sub watchers because sub ended in 2012)when TYBW came back in 2022.

WHICH MAKES HIM TIED WITH CHAD! 🤣 That's right. For the majority of the OG series, Chad had more canon dubs than Renji. Here's something crazy though: At this point (end of Fullbring), Renji, Chad, Ishida, AND Rukia are all tied with 3. 😛 If you count Ishida embarrassing Yammy and sending him to the shadow realm before he inevitably comes back, then Ishida has 4. If you disqualify Rukia's victory over Rudebone because Yammy stole her kill when he came back, then she just has 2. I still consider that a Rukia victory though; with Chad and Renji on the assist. Rukia of course has an excuse that the others don't have: being more-or-less immobile for a huge chunk of the series. The reason Renji feels disappointing in particular though, is that, unlike Ishida and Rukia, Renji's never really allowed to stand out, apart from all the times he gets into major fights that he can't win. As for Chad, he's more of a minor character who we never really expected anything from after getting "Worf Effect"-ed. That's the thing. The Worf Effect applies to CHAD, not Renji. The "I can't imagine Chad loosing." meme exists because, early on, WE REALLY COULDN'T! He was used to demonstrate how bad-ass his opponents were because "They can beat CHAD?! Holy s*&%!" That never happened with Renji, because, until this moment with Jackie, we never saw him as an absolute unit.

OG SERIES ✅ Ichigo and catching his opponent’s attacks with his bare hands, name a better duo Suraj, you are correct in this being Ichigo’s first kill. And while normally killing someone would greatly affect your psyche, I think the reason as to why Ichigo does not seem to feel that much remorse after the battle is over is because he came to understand Ginjo, but come to a different conclusion than him. I also think that Riruka’s words helped Ichigo cope with the fact he just killed someone, because it is as she said: “Ichigo saved Ginjo”. As for the TYBW reactions, I completely understand and respect your decision to release only one episode per week, all that I ask is that you consider watching episodes 12 and 13 together in the same video, as those episodes originally released at the same time. Regarding whether to watch the openings or not, Opening 1 has minimal spoilers in my opinion, so i’ll leave that up to you. Opening 2 is completely safe to react Opening 3 is full of spoilers, which is a shame because the song is an absolute banger lmao. Should be safe to react to in the last few episodes of the season. Edit: The two Bleach novels are CFYOW (Can’t Fear Your Own World) and SAFWY (Spirits Are Forever With You), are both canon, but you do not need to read them before TYBW. I recommend either reading them or watching a video about them on your own time 😬

Feel like we would have remembered if Ichigo has a cousin, considering we haven't seen any extended family of his. I don't believe a character like that exists in this series, so I think you're just misremembering. Anyway, I'll reiterate the recommendation for you to double drop the first two episodes of TYBW, as well as episodes 11 and 12, the latter especially. You guys lowkey spoiled yourself on Ginjo's motivations since it could still be adapted. Not that it matters honestly, you have a right to be confused. There has been no confirmation of a "Can't Fear Your Own World" adaptation, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. The Soul Society has always been shady. Especially given the rules regarding the transfer of power to a human, and the subsequent punishment that Rukia faced, albeit, central 46 were manipulated by Aizen, as he knew their authority was absolute. Kaname Tousen was someone who saw how corrupt they were, given what he experienced. This represents feudal Japan fairly well, especially in regards to the hierarchical structure. It also illustrates just how influential Ichigo has become, from the human boy who became a soul reaper illegally to a man who is owed a great debt. As you jump straight into the next arc, commiserations to Rana, ya Allah, her struggle in pronunciation will continue. And again, Shiro Sagisu is to thank for the soundtrack, he is an exceptional composer. You're not ready for what else he's got cooking. Lastly, I want to share the jump festa 2022 series montage, it's 15 minutes long, with several opening songs in the background. This version is subtitled, you have no time to watch it now, but it's a fun refresher that you can drop with the first TYBW episode if you don't plan on doing what I recommended earlier. Fun fact (from what I've seen so far): You guys will be the first big reaction channel to watch Bleach TYBW in all of its equally awesome dubbing glory! 🥳 Truly truly excited! 🎊 Another fun fact: Ever since Bleach's come back. Bandai Namco have announce a new Bleach video game called Bleach Rebirth of Souls! Which officially comes out March 21, 2025. Trailers have released and I believe the game will go up to the Arancar Arc. So if you all do decide to check out the first trailer. There are no worries of spoilers in the TYBW. (Side Note) Outside of skipping the intros for major/ minor spoilers. I forgot to mention that after episode one henceforth. There is a mini preview scene that plays right after the intros of each episode. Try your best to skip those along with the intro if you can. Can't wait for your deep dive discussions and lastly in my honest opinion. Shiro Sagisu the music composer goat, Titty Kubo(you'll see soon), and Studio Pierott have been COOKEN COOKEN.

(The story may feel incomplete, but we do get more information later that really clears everything up) We didn't get the explanation of "what happened" to Ginjo or Tsukishima here until far later within light novels, and it makes you empathize with Ginjo's mission...The Soul Society did some overly cruel things to Ginjo. In fact the anime didn't properly display the already small amount of backstory we got for any of the fullbringers Ginjo’s comment about Isshin and Kisuke plus the Soul Society itself also has a LOT of nuance when you experience the entirety of Bleach. Just keep those in mind. Choice is an important theme expressed here, despite what happened to Ginjo and Ichigo they were still given the choice to choose how they would proceed and the separation is why they are at odds. When ginjo was done wrong he choose vengeance, yet Ichigo made the choice to protect, this is why Ginjo looks upset when Ichigo makes his decision. BTW the novels CFYOW, SAFWY AND WDKALY are CANON to BLEACH So excited for TYBW, it’s a whole different ball park to what you’ve experienced so far. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on just the first episode. It’s about to get INSANE!!

Death Note is a prime example, since they originally wanted both L and Light to die together like the original japanese movie, not the terrible Netflix version. At the time One Piece, Naruto, Bleach and Hitman Reborn! All did their major war arcs together and some were made to continue as long as possible. One Piece hit the half way point, Naruto had a One Shot with Mitsuki and a 10 chapter story on Sarada, Sasuke's daughter in the arc named The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring (these were adapted to a number of Boruto Episodes), Naruto The Last and Boruto: Naruto the Movie < despite the bad rep, this movie is technically the end of the series and i do hope you guys watched this movie, since the Manga and Anime came later as an attempt to milk the franchise and reworked the story so it can be one (Boruto Two Blue Vortex is really hyped right now!) Bleach had the Fullbring Arc where the anime ended and the manga ended with The Thousand Year Blood War arc. Kubo is working with the anime staff to rework some parts of the story with some original fights never seen in the manga due to the constraints and pressure of maintaining a weekly series. Reborn! Had a poorer treatment since the anime ended on the future arc and we lost out on 2 arcs. The Simon arc was bit like the Fullbring arc, rough start but climatic finish and the Rainbow Representative War was like the TYBW for Hitman Reborn! Fans are legit begging for a remake or return of the anime since Bleach came back

2024-12-04 19:34:09 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown Bleach This might get lost in all the celebrations over finishing the og Bleach or Ichigo vs Ginjo, but I love Byakuya in episode 365. Tsukishima hit him with Book of the End and changed his past so that he was always there. But still, that doesn't ERASE Ichigo. Ichigo was still there and still as important as he was before. Byakuya has always been "logical" and calm with situations like this, he basically realised that yeah Tsukishima was there for all the big shit that happened, but so was Ichigo - and I just love Byakuya’s reasoning of “sure, you’re important to me, but Ichigo is also important to me and you caused him pain, so you gotta go man” lol, even though he may never admit to Ichigo’s face that he’s important to him. And even in the previous episode he said he was glad he was the one to fight Tsukishima as Ichigo would be too soft on him and wouldn’t kill him, so he’ll do it for Ichigo instead (very Giles in that one scene of Buffy S5 of him IYKYK). If you remember also, back in Hueco Mundo before Ichigo goes back to Karakura Town with Unohana, it was Byakuya who reminded Ichigo of his duties and how he is Karakura Town's protector and gassed him up for the fight against Aizen. And now look at him this episode too. Byakuya's relationship with Ichigo has been slowly developed over the course of the series and has now come (nearly) full circle. He went from being Ichigo's enemy, disrespecting him and calling him a mere "Ryoka Boy" to being his ally, respecting him greatly and essentially becoming one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) believer in Ichigo. I love it.

Man I remember back in the day what a let down these guys were, they were complete jobbers who get kicked in the chips almost instantly. Whenever new villains are introduced they either have to job out someone from the heroes side to show how dangerous they are and you end up with people like renji but in the opposite side of you try to give the jobber heroes a win and show how strong they are you end up making the villains look like just a couple of scrubs. They will forever be trapped in this limbo hell of getting shit rocked. Oh well at least Orihime stays winning as tite kubo loves her rocking tits. Her sweater missiles consistently get more Ws than renji chad uryu and toshiro put together.

Us Bleach fans were like the crazy guys with the tin foil hats telling everyone that eventually the anime would come back holding on to hope 😂. Then one day in 2020 at the end of another announcement for the 50,000 art gallery and the BTW anime four words “Don't give into despair” and thirty seconds of TYBW panels it was back. After almost 9 years it was like our eyes were opened as we regained our anime. Glad you guys made it, it was a long journey full of a lot of good moments and some bad *cough cough Persche and Dondochaka cough*. I hope you guys enjoy TYBW and all it has to offer. One thing to keep in mind if you guys are watching the dub is that some of the characters are going to sound different. It's been 10 years some voices changed, some of the voice actors retired or are really close to, and some didn't return because of business reasons.

It’s good, but definitely shows it’s ages as a early 2000 series with its weekly format and filler, plus all the censorship and weird changes in the early episodes(seriously someone Studio Pierrot Ichiruki and hated Orihime because of it), so if your a new fan I’ll would have just recommended the manga as it way better in passing and tone up until TYBW. I think Bleach is definitely due for a remake with so many new fans come in to see TYBW, many of whom probably don’t have the patience to watch a 300+ episode anime. But that’s just my thoughts hope you enjoy TYBW, cause it fucking slaps

So Just a suggestion but this next week you guys should watch the prologue set up EP 299 for & with the last Bleach movie 4: Hellverse before jumping into TYBW (unless you guys have already started reacting to that) as 1. It’ll be your last chance to experience OG Bleach, without interrupting your TYBW experience. 2. While the story is arguable, the concept has been canon since Ep 5 with the Hellgate, and personally would say it’s the best one, at least entertainment action wise. 3. The TYBW dub starts at least 1 month (4 Eps behind) after each TYBW part/cour starts and we don’t know if the next and last one will be at the earliest in fall of next year (specifically November like this year) or in winter 2026 at the latest. Either way, there’s no rush to watch TYBW despite everyone’s hype including my own. Even with taking a 1 week “delay”, it will be 37 to 40 weeks before you’re caught up which is by late August or September of next year and would be just in time before the earliest (October) next and last part starts.👌

Now here are some important details that were not included from the manga and some interviews from Kubo. 1. The reason Ichigo wanted to bury Ginjo’s body it’s because he cannot pass on unless lay to rest in the human world. If kept sealed in Soul society his soul cannot join the cycle of reincarnation and eventually go to soul society as a spirit. 2.
