It's easy to do things misconstrued as bad when you lack perspective. The only thing he's really guilty of is never going down to the undercity to see the conditions for himself. Which yes, isn't being a great leader but he never acted with malice. He didn't have sweeping control of the council. They still voted on everything and, as we have seen time and time again, the council is deeply corrupt. We saw his lack of control when he was forcibly retired. It was less him being an active part of the oppression and more him being more devoted to science than to governing. But there's clear evidence in the text that he was an active force of good. That's why they voted him out and the corruption ramped up heavily once he was gone. And as soon as he got to the undercity, he began actively participating in bettering the lives of people around him. He gave up his cushy retirement to go and help people. Like I see where you're coming from, but with all the evidence in the story itself, I have to vehemently disagree.

When Jinx is pinned down by Vi, she seems resolved to let herself die. It's almost like this whole thing was one last tantrum to get everything out of her system and go out fighting. Given the fact she panics when Sevika starts up the bomb (Telling her 'it's not time yet'), and how she's telling Isha to get off her, I legit think she was expecting to die, if not hopeful. All those color bombs going off were going to be a send off to Jinx. Isha however seems to be almost like a second change for Jinx. Since she was introduced, Jinx's mental health seems to have gotten better, to where aside from one minor time, she's not having flashes and visions.

She's voiced by trans actress Eve Lindley and confirmed on Twitter that Lest is trans too. One really cool mirroring between S1E3 and S2E3. In the first, Vi struck Powder out of RAW emotion but didn't actually "leave her" and was abducted when she tried to race back to save Powder. In the latter, Cait struck Vi out of rage for stopping her from getting her vengeance, but she did leave and didn't look back. Caitlyn's villain arc is going to be terrifying and amazing and I'm here for it. Some minor lore info: We all know Ambessa is a Noxus warlord, controling a regiment of the Noxian army. The Black Rose is a sort of CIA/NSA/Illuminati spy organization within the Noxus government that is led by mages (She called them witches) and one incredibly powerful mage in particular leads the group. So whatever is going on between them and Ambessa is an internal conflict that Ambessa has brought to Piltover. I can go more into it if the show drops some names.

2024-11-13 22:57:40 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown Don’t know if you guys will be reading comments for Arcane but I just wanted to say this, we need to talk about how Heimerdinger is directly 100% responsible for the way Piltover and the Undercity are right now. He has been head of the council since Piltovers inception which means he was right there and saw and actively took part in the oppression of the Undercity and never uttered one iota of criticism or tried to change anything. He only started crying when Jayce brought magic into the conversation. But just because he was right about the use of magic doesn’t mean he’s innocent. His inability to take accountability for the part he played in the cities downfall and instead choosing to shake his head in disappointment at Jayce, who at the end of the day truly had good intentions, is mind boggling. Don’t let the happy go lucky Yoda-like charm fool y’all. He’s arguably the worse person in the show actually, although Ambessa is also a contender at this point, lol.

In 3 episodes alone, Arcane managed to wipe away any sympathy I had for either Vi or Cait honestly, and Vi’s half assed “we were clearing the streets” excuse was disgusting.

They went straight to literally flooding the area with POISON. Nothing can justify that. Jinx killed what, like four people with her shark rocket? How many people have they killed with the gas? Besides, the rocket was a quick boom whereas with the gas, you suffer before it kills you. Thus: war crime.
