2024-11-12 14:18:25 +0000 UTCSuch a good start. No spoils ep2 or 3, just clarifications on stuff in this one: The woman who attacked the memorial is Renni, she was one of the Chem Barons (Drug Lords) that worked with Silco to manufacture and distribute shimmer across Piltover and Zaun. She had the resources for an attack like that for sure and with no Silco to keep her in line, she went for vengeance against Jayce who killed her son when he and Vi attacked that Shimmer refinery. That is also where we saw the armored shimmer soldiers the first time. So all of that makes sense. In that attack he was basically the only civilians casualty we saw, the rest were the roided up shimmer-heads. I feel bad for that kid but Renni put him there, I assume so that he knew the business and work his way up from the bottom, but regardless, she bares as much responsibility for his death as Jayce. The kid is also the one who set of the alarms that escalated that so, kind of the consequences of his actions, and that life, coming back for back on him. Reminds me of my cousin that got shot up in a drive by, I wish he hadn't but he was in that life so I have never heard him squawk about it. He lost the use of his legs but at least he survived and now he's about earn his Bachelors degree. Too bad Renni's boy will never get that chance. At some point some one said that Viktor consumed Sky but that isn't 100% right; she tried to save him from the Hexcore and IT ate her. If Vik and the core are fused now, as it seems to be, then it is kinda fair to say that Viktor consumed her. I am very worried for Viktor regardless of any game lore, that hexcore is bad news and I feel like there will be consequences. This first act (Eps 1-3) has a lot of callbacks to season 1 so it would be good to do a rewatch or at least watch the recap that Netflix posted. It will fill in the gaps if it has been a minute since you have seen it. I never stopped rewatching season 1 and reactions to it. Probably my favorite show of all time.

2024-11-12 07:11:22 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown So I wanted to spend this Sunday Rundown giving a few facts about the current season without spoiling anything regarding plot points or characters. Firstly, the total cost for season 1 and 2 of Arcane cost roughly 250 million dollars, and yet given it's popularity it has been a welcomed success. Secondly, a decent chunk of that went to the OST of the show. Arcane is so well crafted that each song played is hand crafted and molded to fit perfectly into the scene; to the point where some of the songs will utilize some of League's fake languages to create lyrics. It's honestly impressive, yet helps explain the ungodly budget for 18 episodes of a show (Remember, Pusha T was hired to make a song for the show). It makes perfect sense why they'd use 'Enemy' as the OP for the second season, while it still fits, they couldn't afford to create another billboard top 10 (Look it up). Third, Caitlyn's mother's funeral shown in episode 1 was hand drawn stills using charcoal. The main characters are the only ones colored and with animation, were added in later. If you get the chance look up the stills online, they're beautiful. Overall, this show has been amazing and I can't wait to see more. Great reaction as always, see ya next week.

2024-11-12 05:00:32 +0000 UTCVi is the opps. She's out here committing war crimes. Turning hextech against civilians was never the answer. Yes, I'm biased towards Jinx emotionally, but I'm fully aware that her actions are not able to be defended. But just because Jinx is also wrong doesn't place Vi in the right. A police state is never acceptable. She's become a part of the machine that destroyed her life and family.

2024-11-12 04:03:21 +0000 UTCLFG!!! PEAK is back! #SundayRundown #Arcane Ep1 lets not throw any shade on anybody who forgot names or characters or events from S1 cause its been a LONG WHILE but instead lets shoutout to Navi for reminding y'all of all the critical details. Also hell yea Surj for instantly catching Cait touching on that slippery slope of calling the undercity people "animals". Minor game details not relevant to the story: At the end of the episode, the "wolves" that Singed trapped and gassed does exist in the game as one of the "jungle camps" as a two headed wolf.
