#Frieren #SundayRundown Now that we're done with ep 10 here is a little more info on Demons. Demons and Elves are the only ones who can Naturally use magic, though Humans and Dwarfs can learn magic it is not a natural thing for them so they have to be taught magic in order to use it. Because of this and their long lifespans Elves were viewed as a threat to Demons by the Demon King and this is why he had Elven Villages like Frieren's attacked and destroyed. This is one of the reason along with the Elves lack reproductive instincts for why there are a lack of Elves in this world.

Even after seeing the episode multiple times I still get anxiety watching it. Chef's kiss to the director, producers, and all the actors involved for accomplishing an 18-minute one take.

2024-09-17 17:00:27 +0000 UTCAlso syd is an excellent chef but she folded under pressure again sure carmy was going into a mode that is never really needed in a kitchen he should be the center of calm and control but syd did not support her head chef as the sous her main job is to support and match the head chefs energy and maybe quietly tell him to reign it in a bit instead she lost it, both marcus and syd are the ones who fucked up this ep, while the fuck ups and hard heads richie and tina kept their cool and just powered on through it all

Carmy and Syd warned him about getting too focused on his side project and disregarding his actual job and this is when it comes to a head. Then instead of sucking it up and carrying on and having a conversation after service he is a dick about it and bails, it is not justified in this situation he is in the wrong.

Reposting this since last SundayRundown was cancelled: I saw on the last Rundown you were looking for spooky suggestions this October, and I know you probably want more variety, however it would be an absolute shame if you guys missed the premiere of DanDaDan! It is a supernatural anime made by a former assistant of Tatsuki Fujimoto's so if you liked Chainsaw Man you'll like this, although DanDaDan leans more into lighthearted comedy at times it still hits with some real and genuinely heartbreaking story moments. it will be animated by Science Saru and already looks gorgeous from the trailers, so I hoping you check this one out.

Richie was actually doing everything he was told to do Carmy told him to prep with Sydny she was the one freaking out then when he was "on her station" she couldnt let go of her grudge when its go time. Richie was obviously used to working in high stress kitchen times like this and never wasn't working. Syd also was standing in Carmys expo like a deer in the headlights, and he had to yell to get her to listen after telling her multiple times to get off the expo for her to listen. Carmy doesn't have the time to talk about the risotto right before service, but Syd is all about now now now. Syd is the young upstart that is flying too high too fast, not realizing her impact on things around her. (Remember she had her own business that failed as a startup) She and Markus literally left the staff high and dry. In a kitchen, you work through the shift, get over the hump then quit otherwise your screwing everyone, not just your manager
