2024-09-27 13:59:14 +0000 UTCCobra Kai #SundayRundown Nah I'm sorry, I couldn't believe that Navi and Rana initially wanted Miguel to not help Kyler out. This is not a "no be there" situation. Good to see their tone change completely when they saw how awful he was being treated. No matter how awful Kyler was, this show has proven that there is a path of redemption for former bullies, we all love Chozen and that guy fought Daniel to the death once, not to mention that this whole show started with Johnny. I really like that Miguel confronted those frat bros, he hates bullies, and seeing his former bully be picked on was something he couldn't stand for, it's the type of person he is. It drives home his character development, and just like his previous reasoning over not wanting to fight, I think Mr Miyagi would have been proud of this moment. Kyler is a douche, but he's our douche and still growing as a person. It was good to see them fight together and reconcile, and it was the first time Kyler referred to him as "Rhea" in a supportive manner. As well as the much needed advice he gave, the safe option will always be there so chase your dream.
