Lol, it would be funny if when she came back the other characters were like, "Cordy, your body is physically not 22 anymore, you are 25! How do we know that? I don't know!"

Thought she did become a higher being in another dimension. Time may be faster there.

# Sunday Rundown
After this episode of Young Justice, Vandal is no longer a villain in my eyes, but more of anti hero. Who knows how many times throughout human history Savage has saved humanity from complete extinction. I really want to see a season 5, for a possible Wally return, and to see more deep dives on the the OG cast.

Definitely. This is just one of the reasons this season is the most poorly written. They force a connection between Fred and Wes by showing them both being nerds, and reduce Gunn's personality to that of the angry black man trope. The youtube channel Five by Five breaks it down beautifully in her video about Wes if you wanna check it out

To me, mother figure thing aside, Cordy is supposed to be 21-22, but she absolutely does not look that young. Charisma was around 32 at this point and she looks it. Vincent Kartheiser was 22 or 23. The age between the ACTORS is already inappropriate.

Interesting they think the new potential is obviously dawn when i think its obviously the shelly duval looking girl. First time we see her again is when we get a new potential? The only new student to have a second appearance? Has to be her

#SundayRundown The final scene with Zatara and Black Canary never fails to make me tear up a bit. Zatara was basically forced to lose out on his daughters life. She was 14 when he was locked up, and while he was able to see her once a year, it still left him weary. Him breaking down next to canary is him finally being able to rest and I feel for him.

(Angel)
As annoying as Connor can be, I do like how they fit his internal struggles into the larger tapestry of the show. Angel and Connor both see Angelus as a representation of all that they hate in themselves. Angelus is all the darker impulses of Liam exposed like a raw nerve.
Similarly, Connor thinks he himself is a monster because he was born from a monster.
Connor: “Angel is just something you’re forced to wear. You’re my real father.”
We see in Season 3 that due to his experiences in Quor’Toth, he believes that he is not worthy of happiness. We also see in this season that he thought the Beast being born in the same place as him meant that he was connected to a malevolent entity. He thinks his life was destined to be shrouded in pain and misery. It’s the source of his self-loathing. So to cope with that he projects all of his problems onto his “real father” Angelus, similarly to how Liam blamed his insecurities on his father.
So even though Connor is annoying, I like how they attempted to make his struggles consistent with the overall story. I can at least see what they were attempting even if it wasn’t always firing on all cylinders.

Well that was the last episode of the Zatanna arc! Klarion found himself a new cat to latch onto, they finally defeated Child, Beast Boy just mistakenly let go of Predita think he doesn't need her anymore, Dr. Fate finally released Zatara and what's his name took his place but Mary now feels that she's been betrayed and just took off and Zatanna just sensed Superboy may not be dead after all and is somewhere else. Unfortunately now Mary has been manipulated by the voice of Granny and tempted her to embrace her power. This ain't good at all!

To be fair, we have literal precedent in Angel for someone passing through a portal and coming back out much older lol. But obviously Cordelia never did.

Because Angel and Spike never fed and changed Buffy’s diapers when she was a baby. Just weird with Cordelia and Connor and she looked so much older than him.

I don't like the relationship between Cordelia and Connor at all, but I always wonder why people get so freaked out by a relationship between an 18 & 22 year old, and instead prefer the 22 year old to be with a 250 year old vampire ...
Kristin Carter
2024-09-12 17:34:16 +0000 UTC
The age math is fairly simple ... In season 1 of Buffy, the Scoobies were 16 (10th grade)
In season 2, they were 17 (11th grade) In season 3 they all turned 18 (12th grade) In season 4, they were 19 (college freshmen) In season 5, they turned 20. In season 6, they turned 21. In season 7, they all turn 22, so when Buffy ends, Buffy, Willow and Xander will all be 22 years old. Cordelia can't be 25 unless driving from Sunnydale to LA forces you to go through a time wormhole that ages you by 3 years. I know the actress looks older, but y'all just saw the character graduate from high school 3.5 years ago ...

#SundayRundown (I know. No SD this week)
For Rana:
At the end of Buffy, you were asking about the British slayerette... I just remembered there were two British slayerettes. Okay, if you were talking about:
Molly (aka the one who survived): she was played by Clara Bryant. She guest starred in 2 shows after Buffy (Hack and Numb3rs) and was in a TV movie (Bone Eater). Oh! She was in Under Wraps; a Disney Channel movie about 3 kids who found a mummy and accidentally brought it back to life (hijinks ensue…).
as for the other one
Annabelle (aka the one who ran away, then died) - played by Courtnee Draper. She is best known for voicing Elizabeth in the BioShock Infinite video games. BUT, if you were watching Disney Channel back in the late '90s to early 2000s, you’ve probably seen her in the TV series The Jersey; it's a show where these friends had a magical sports jersey that turned them into famous athletes. Or you've seen her in the Disney Channel movies: The Thirteen Year (she was the mermaid boy’s girlfriend) or Stepsister from Planet Weird (she was the main character with the stepsister...from "Planet Weird").

Fred and Wes were wrong. No excuses. Gunn was clearly right all along with Wesley making the moves on Fred. Soon as Fred and Gunn hit a rough patch she’s now drawn to Wes and kissed him back. The kiss was awkward also and not hot like Lilah and Wes. 🔥🔥

Why would y'all think she's 25? When you know Buffy is 22? Connor is not a baby clearly. Lol Does he look like a baby? 😂 that boy grown up.
