#SundayRundown (BtVS) Based on some of the other comments on this episode, my best attempt at a balanced take here will probably still end up being controversial.
Regarding the Spike discussion (hopefully someone can pass this one on to Marketa, because half of this is in response to her sentiments) - I think all of your guys' feelings about the Spike situation are completely valid. Of course you can't be expected to ship them if you're struggling with the memory of that scene. Of course Spike isn't *entitled* to be around Buffy, nor is he insisting that he has that right.
But as far as determining whether it's good for her to be around him, whether or not he can 'come back from' what a different version of him did to her, whether she forgives him or not - that's up for Buffy to decide. It's not up to Spike, or her friends, or even me as the viewer. She's rediscovering her agency this season. What's important, to me at least, is that it's something Buffy decides for herself, and I think that's what the writers were going for as well.

SMG was 24 and the show had her doing kinky sex scenes with James Marsters who was almost 40. Probably one of the reasons SMG is not a fan of season 6.

To me, mother figure thing aside, Cordy is supposed to be 22ish, but she absolutely does not look that young. Charisma was around 32 at this point and she looks it. Vincent Kartheiser was 22 or 23. The age between the ACTORS is already inappropriate.
Omg, I'm typing this as Pat goes through his trump loving neighbor end of the world scenario π€£β οΈ
