Criston Cole failed his duty, he dismssed the kingsguards from the royal family's quarters so he could sleep with Alicent. Then he blames what happened on Arryk who actually did his duty by remaining beside his King. Criston talking about purity and honor when he himself broke his vow, and became Alicent's side piece. Alicent trying to gaslight Heleana about what she saw when she entered her room. Again, Alicent leaving Aegon crying and grieving alone, just to sleep with Criston rater than conforting him. Alicent and Criston are the nastiest, pettiest People in this show, and they recognize each other, that is why they can't keep away from one other. I laughed so hard when Alicent tried to confess her sin to Otto, but he said "no thank you, i had enough for one day. So please keep your guilty conscience to yourself, i am out of here". I am not on the Green side, but out of all of them Otto seems reasonable, which is horrible. He is manipulative and always influencing everyone around him for his own gain but at least he was competent at his job as the hand of the King. And in that scene with Aegon and Cole, you can see the wheels turning and when he falters for just one little moment, you can guess he is asking himself "maybe Vyserys' decision of making Rhaenyra his heir wasn't a bad choice afterall". I hate him, but for once since season one, i felt bad for Otto, he is surrounded by idiots. And then there is Daemon, i never liked him, and i never understood why People like him. He is rash and bloodthirsty and he would do anything to start a war which he did, and the result was the stupidest "mistake" he could have ever done. Last but not least RIP Erryk and Arryk. Both of them served honorably their respective Queen and King, and they fufilled their duty until their dying breath. I am sad, for both of them, they are collateral victims of a family feud.

Acording to the manga and official stats there's not much of a diference in skill between every Hashira and all are very close to each other, the only difference is in their stats. For example: Tengen is the fastes runner, Himejima is the strongest physically, Mitsuri has the fastest attack speed/technique, Obanai being the best at swordplay, etc. Also their breathing techniques and match-ups matter a lot in the story. Example, in the battle against Gyutaro only Tengen and Himejima could have won or even fight against him, due to Gyutaro's insane speed and that his poison would have killed anyone else in seconds. Witch makes it funny because at the end of the arc Obanai mocks Tengen for almost losing but since he is one of the slowest Hashiras he would have instantly lost. Another thing to consider is that before the story began and the marks appear, Tengen was arguably the third strongest Hashira and still barely survided Gyutaro. This also explains Tokito's fight againts Gyokko, theirs was a bad match up. Gyokko was way slower than Gyutaro and more of a zoner, also Tokito awaken his mark and his breathing technique consisted of confusing and outspeeding his opponent.

As for Demon Slayer, (since I don't know I won't say where or who unless asked but) I'm pretty sure we've seen that kid who let Gyomei's demon in before. Could be mistaken, but can't wait to see if that comes back around.

2024-06-24 20:46:08 +0000 UTCthe OP and ED are actually a collab between MY FIRST STORY and HYDE (just like S3 with MAN WITH A MISSION and milet), but yeah, HYDE is pretty much known worldwide and he's great. and that AoT OP is prob my fav. so good! i don't think they've watched the OG FMA tho (but that was such a classic OP! FMA had an amazing OST and great OPs/EDs!)

Everyone on Reddit is hating Cole but I find his story really interesting so far. I'm more satisfied that Otto sees his scheming coming to a fruition of failure.

HYDE (lead vocalist for L'arc En Ciel) has been doing anime songs for decades! Dating back to the OG Fullmetal Alchemist ("Ready, Steady, Go"), they've done tons of top 100 anime songs. YOU guys might recognize them most from the (1st) OP to AOT S3. Ya know, the slow one 😆. Anyways, I'm huge on Japanese bands thanks to anime OPs and EDs, and this is one of their most prolific singers ever. In my top 5, for sure.

2024-06-24 16:36:10 +0000 UTCHOTD: I think this was pretty much aligned with the book. If I remember correctly both brothers died in the fight, it's not specified that one chose to kill himself. Regarding Daemon and the "Blood and Cheese", in the book Rhaenyra and Daemon is not at the same place when they get news of Lukes death, so Rhaenyra just gets a note via raven where Daemon writes something along "Lucerys will be avenged. A son for a son". So it's not really specified exactly what instructions Daemon gave, only the outcome.
