2024-03-22 04:00:34 +0000 UTCRe: Angel 3x6 -- Commentary for this episode is by the two guys who wrote the episode. Some of their comments are: 1) They wanted to leave it open whether misogyny is inherent in every man or was totally caused by Billy's influence 2) Joss Whedon wrote two scenes because they were in a time crunch -- the two scenes at Lila's apartment, one with Angel and one with Cordelia. The episode went too long and he insisted the dialog about the shoes stay in. 3) They say everyone realized that the scenes with Wesley going through the hotel with an axe were turning out "Shining"-esque and tried to reduce the reference but it doesn't seem like they tried very hard.
