In that movie, all Broly did was scream Kakarot the entire movie. Goku telling Broly to call him Kakarot made the crowd go crazy in the theater where I watched this movie. lol Also, Dragon Ball Super Broly is the first movie that Broly appeared in that is canon. We also need a Tournament of Power reaction. It definitely would attract a decent amount of views. But just the Tournament of Power Arc. The rest of Super isn't worth it. There are a few new characters introduced in the arcs before the tournament, but Spidey could easily explain who they are in a sentence or two.

"Grave of the Fireflies", "Schindler's List", "Amadeus" and "Goodfellas" are examples of masterpieces in the visual medium. Storytelling in the Dragonball universe is okay but doesn't come close to masterpiece level even if you have to bend over backwards to contextualize DB and DBZ being a product of their time. Your argument is weird to begin with because you claim Dragon Ball's storytelling still holds up then claim people can't hold the series to the standards set by modern anime. That's a silly, moving the goal post opinion. Also, it's absolutely appropriate to compare things that are purely subjective. Your sports analogy doesn't work because sports stats are based on objective reality and measurable feats that are accomplished by an individual in real life. On the other hand, art will always be subjective.

It's a love note to all Trigger properties and a "spiritual" Gurren Lagan movie, IMO. Either way, it's Trigger... with it's biggest budget you've ever seen... so yeah. Watch it 😉

The difference between Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan God is so astronomical, that the power multiplier you obtain from fusion is SMALLER than the power multiplier you get from Super Saiyan God. Which is why Goku and Vegeta didn't fuse when they first met Beerus and instead had to have Goku become a Super Saiyan God. Now imagine two Super Saiyan Gods with YEARS of training at the level of Gods, which is a power that can literally destroy multiple universes when they FIRST obtained it mind you, and have THEM fuse - then you take that fusion (Gogeta) and multiply their base power by 50x (Super Saiyan - 50× is the official canon multiplier btw) then an UNFATHOMABLE amount of times further (Super Saiyan God), then adding ANOTHER 50x multiplier on top of that (Super Saiyan Blue)...sure, Broly kept up with Super Saiyan Gogeta, but once he turned Blue, the battle was over. There was literally nothing Broly could have done at that point. That final Kameheha was going to erase him from existence, you can even see the fear on Broly's face before it hit lol.

The move that Gogeta did that Navi called a jelly bean (💀💀💀💀) is basically Gogeta’s special move; It’s called “Soul Punisher”. 2. This is headcanon, but they basically canonized Super Saiyan 4 in this movie and I’m surprised spidey didn’t catch it lol. When Paragus explained that the form Broly had was due to him controlling his great ape power but keeping it in human form, that’s literally the basis of super Saiyan 4 lol. Also, Broly had the same yellow and black eyes like Super Saiyan 4 Goku did in GT.

I’ve watched it at LEAST 20 times. I’m kinda Bias tho because Broly and Gogeta are literally my favorite characters, and to get them both in the same movie WITH a theme song for Gogeta??? The Fan service; I’m here for it 😭 And the fighting animation; Oh.. My.. God!! The fluidity of the movements makes you wonder if the animators watched some Naruto fights while the movie was in the drawing stage lol
