Making racist jokes your go-to in 2023 while everything is going on in the world is wild

CWall

This was probably the worst Angel episode. It's only uphill from here

BetheSOUL

Agree with Rana, that this episode is a great analogy for adoption and a child finding out later in life.

mary smith

I hope Chris hasn't bowed out of Angel for good. Season 2 gets really good once you get past the Angel the Asshat episodes.

Tasker Thorn

just realized how hilarious it is they keep asking them to do something with hotel and all that space...

Macs

I'm surprised y'all don't like Jinx. Glory's minions are definitely fan favourites, but I think they get better with time.

Cory Garron

The other two are "happily" ruling the hell dimension, as stated in the show.

Cory Garron

I know Black Manta was the villian, man I kinda felt bad for him even tho I/we are rooting for Kaldur. You can tell he loved having his son around and bonding with him. From his POV, you can argue he was betrayed and put his neck on the line for him

Kuro

Well as you saw that whole Summit episode was all about discussion and certain things finally being revealed. Also they've recorded the whole thing so now the public has finally learned the truth about the Reach, but will it also be good enough to finally prove the league's innocence on Rimbor?

Brandon Gibbs

Ben isn't one of the 3 gods, simply a vessel for Glory.

DuffMD

It seems like im in the minority but for some reason the player on the website is not working for me 😩 Ive watched Buffy and Angel but when it comes to Young Justice it completely stop working 🤷🏾‍♂️

Dean Joyner

Agreed. Rana's reactions have been great in this series.

Chaos T

I like this villain is randomly hated. This episode feels like an allegory for the legal system.

Chaos T

When you typed this did you automatically believe Detroit was going to be the incompetent Thanksgiving entertainment you've learned to enjoy for decades? Holy hell... the Detroit Lions are cursed on this day.

Chaos T

Rewatching this series with "The Normies" crew it's hard not to come to the conclusion Xander is a self insert. That isn't to say his character should be overlooked in importance but there's certain times where I look at his interactions and kinda cringe.

Chaos T

#Sunday Rundown. This season of Young Justice culminates in a very satisfying way. Also it’s great to see your love for Kaldur - he’s such a good character, and his voice actor Khary Peyton loves him a lot too. He’s talked about it during conventions and such, and said that Kaldur means a lot to him as a character. There is so much in previous episodes that take on new meaning when you get to this point in the story, and that continues going forward. Can’t wait to see what you think of the s2 finale, and s3!

cosmotron

the best friend with glasses just looks like karen from will and grace. like they could be sisters. its insane. she is even a great comedic actress like megan mullally

rickie woodson

i saw it too surj. he looks SOOOOOOO much like a young sam but its not him. this actor's name is geremy dingle

rickie woodson

the point wasnt "so no one else could have her". it was so that they would be together FOREVER. or to quote him "so she couldnt leave"

rickie woodson

that was so not clue. very agatha christie. that was some straight up poirot clown shoes. going from person to person blaming them only to go "but actually" lol. that scene was giving death on the nile

rickie woodson

I feel you but like what exactly would he be charged with?

Blake

Woooooo!!!!!!! Here We Goooooo! Young Justice summit episode is the best episode of the whole series so many twists and turns and epic moments.... Also side note: its also the first instance of seeing Young justice proper with tim drake robin wondnergirl and impulse, everyone is teen titans as confusing as that is.... but yes were here.... and buffy thursday with buffys birthday very dramtic episode but rest of season really picks up and gets very rough sooo here comes the roller coaster and thats including Angel, lol lol ready for that release

Ricardo Obregon

Ah Wally. Wally, Wally,Wally…

Teyon Alexander

Y'all not ready for the season 2 finale 🥺

Catradora fan

The way I think about it is that you can use Xander to analyze Whedon, but you can't really use Whedon to analyze Xander. A fictional character can only exist within the text and if the text shows him to be a creepy, entitled weirdo, then that's what he is. It doesn't matter for the character who wrote him or why, or if his writer also happens to a creepy, entitled weirdo. Of course it's very important to talk about all of the things that happened behind the camera, but saying that "well, the showrunner is a POS so that's obviously why this scene sucked" just doesn't quite sit well with me. Not everything bad and definitely not everything good in the show can be a direct consequence of Whedon.

Pajander

Man, episode 19 of Young Justice is amazing! Everything just comes back around from the entire season and even bits from Season 1 (“Hey Vandy”). It shows how the characters have grown, matured and come into their own as heroes. To echo one other the themes from S1, this episode fully killed and undressed any idea that the main crew are anyone’s sidekicks. They are full blown heiress with their own identities.

Zee

yall dont know about vandal? cant wait for that reveal then.

rickie woodson

baldy is Ubu, Ra's right hand man and LOVAH. not really but the way he is so over protective of Ra's, always by his side, and neither of them having any ON PAGE/SCREEN love interest..............SUS. he was in almost every episode of batman the animated series in which Ra's appeared.

rickie woodson

She has been in rare form. When people are not gaslighting her into rethinking her theories😂

Morgan Le Fay

the past year rana's theories and predictions have been A1. trust that gut girl. your intuition is on FIRE

rickie woodson

before the switch, the info at the beginning from giles gave me this theory: there are three gods that ruled glory's hell dimension and we already met two of them: ben and glory. there is a third one out there that we havent met yet (or have we) so the scoobies are up against a trinity of gods not just one. her and ben sharing a body threw that out the window (unless they are a triple faced god and all three take turns on this plain in a different form but sharing the same body?) but still, there are two more out there somewhere that the gang may have to deal with.

rickie woodson

I think it’s important to address these things, several of the actors and many of the actresses had more issues with Joss this year and the following year At the same time I do think the rest of the writing room has shown that they can let some less than amazing things slip through into episodes. That line felt very gross, definitely early 2000s dialogue that wouldn’t slip through today

space colon

correction, its only a secret if you dont want people to know so you keep it to yourself. once you tell just ONE person its now out in the universe. "two of us can keep a secret if one of us is dead" songs dont lie baby!

rickie woodson

Totally agree. I'm usually good at separating art from the artist, but it can be difficult when the artist in question is a POS slimeball like Joss - you're right though, such considerations detract from enjoying an otherwise excellent episode.

Gaius Frakking Baltar

damn yall should’ve dropped both YJ eps together but oh well

kai

He's one of those Buffyverse villains that they can't kill but can't really lock up because he really didn't commit a crime. Maybe Angel should convert his hotel into a prison for people like him.

Zach Hershman

I don’t think Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn) always had the widest emotional range as an actress at this age but she does such a damn good job communicating intense emotional grief This subplot is still so relevant, so many kids and teens feel that they don’t or can’t belong and Buffy does a great job not talking to her like a child and acknowledging her pain

space colon

Watchers are supposed to take notes but yeah mentioning that the key is Dawn was...a choice

Mo

Everyone is stretching so hard with this show now that they're gonna start pulling muscles. I'm not saying you're wrong. He didn't write this episode, but who knows. I'm just saying that for your own enjoyment it's probably better to try to watch the show without thinking about Whedon five times a minute.

Pajander

I can't wait for more HP reactions! I hope Pat recognizes our boy Cedric, the spirit of vengeance.

Johnny Blue

#sundayrundown I always felt like this Angel episode had the worst conclusion of all of them... Like, this Gene dude wanted to rip his girlfriend from her existence and force her to bang him in a stasis for all eternity, and Angel and Lorne are kinda just like "yea I get it man but maybe take it down a notch". Like bro... this guy needs JAIL, and a LOT of it.

Bisibia

Another solid Buffy episode but slightly annoying to see everyone having these important convos within earshot of dawn or Giles literally writing everything in his diary. As good as the show is, there are the occasional stupid moments 🤦

ray s

Oh and maybe football

Daniel Gonzalez

Happy Thanksgiving I'm excited for Young Justice and food

Daniel Gonzalez

This is probably a stretch, but Xander's semi-creepy comment about Dawn might make more sense if one considers it in the context of a) Xander being a known self-insert character for Joss Whedon, and b) Michelle Trachtenberg's recent allegations of Whedon's inappropriate behavior with her during the production of BTVS. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/michelle-trachtenberg-says-joss-whedon-was-not-allowed-to-be-alone-with-her-on-buffy-4132256/

Gaius Frakking Baltar

Happy Thanksgiving guys!!!!

Deku Teagues

I loved this episode. Sooooo satisfying. As for Ras he'll be fine with the Lazarus Pit, it can reverse age, heal wounds, and bring back the dead. It's got side effects like insanity, making you more and more ruthless and less compassionate. And Vandal is very old, older than the human species. He's a caveman Neanderthal who was there before homo sapiens.
