2023-10-11 23:13:52 +0000 UTCThat "Hueco Mundo Civil War" is nonsense. Completely pointless 2-part filler starring those damn mod souls that Suraj and I hate with the passion of 1000 suns. Also, there's a...3-parter I think? It's about a ghost boy and his sister and is...ok, but kinda' boring. I DO, however, recommend that you check out 4 one-off filler episodes that each deal with an individual character having a side-quest in the human world. They do a great job at staying true to the characters, and being a fun watch despite being side-stories. EPISODE 132 - Hitsugaya x Karin (Ichigo's sister). Adorable. EPISODE 133 - Ikkaku enters a Kendo tournament with Keigo. Basically it's Ikkaku trying to toughen up high schoolers. Hilarious. EPISODE 134 - Hanataro bakes a cake for a grieving mother. More fun than it sounds. EPISODE 135 - Kon helps a child cope with loss. Sad, but wholesome.

2023-10-11 17:13:07 +0000 UTCLoved the reactions. So about the fillers that y'all skipped it's basically three different arcs. First is a three episode arc of Rangiku and Hitsugaya helping two souls with a weird magic flute, several one off episodes of each Soul Reaper just chilling in the human world, and then two episodes of three boring Arrancar killing Ulquiorra, stealing the Hogyoku, getting killed by the Soul Reapers, and then it turns out that Ulquiorra’s death was faked so that he could do some sneaky stuff in the world of the living. The only thing of real note is that Ulquiorra was investigating where Orihime used her powers for some reason. I would suggest watching some of the one off episodes on your own though. They're just a fun time.
