2023-10-10 03:25:17 +0000 UTCif anything this titles of the movies are very confusing i always get the last two confused all the time. yes 3.33 introduces kaworu and then its 3.0+1... whatver ... but =4 movie is to me the Official Ending of the Series. everyone gets thier send off, and its finally a good solid ending to the world of Eva... thank you so much Normies for this ride and thank you Anno for everything

2023-10-09 16:41:35 +0000 UTCIt was pretty controversial and divisive for a lot of fans, and then we had to wait 9 YEARS for the next one. It came out in 2012 and we didn't get a release date or actual trailer until like 2019 2020. The dubbing for this movie is also why we got the Netflix redub and the redubs for the first 3 rebuilds as the rights holders didn't like it. They went to a fan screening and didn't realize the cultural differences between how American fans and Japanese fans watched movies so they threw a hissy fit forced them to reduce the movie and then forced netflix to re-dub it and use their more literal translations written by their in house translator. And fans of the original dub weren't happy which is why you keep hearing things about the Netflix dub sucking and being awful even though its not
