When exactly did Michael feel remorse for framing Toby? Toby point-blank told off Michael for wasting the Police's time and Michael shrugs it off fairly rudely. The way I see it, Michael has no problem deflecting blame on to others (specially Dwight) if he has to choose between himself and Dwight. Note: the episode where Stanley has a heart attack and David Wallace has legitimate reason to fire both Dwight and Michael (specially after the very second incident) for how Michael was allowing the branch to be run and Michael throws Dwight under the bus in no time by literally switching sides.

The cycle continued with entire generations of activists being pushed into extremes and being wiped out which is why Huey was sure he was going to die attempting to liberate Shabazz after all peaceful methods failed.

2023-10-03 16:19:04 +0000 UTCSo some people thought michael was out of character for prince family paper but not this episode? It was a common complaint at the time. It’s one thing for michael to propose selling dwight out since he likes him the least out of all the employees except toby. It’s another thing entirely for him to feel zero remorse for it and entirely go through with it because even with framing toby he started to feel guilty. Some decent laughs and a wholesome subplot but man they don’t seem to have a good handle on the characters. Seemed to have forgotten everything dwight did up until this point too. Anyways a good mini arc starts next week and a much better chain of episodes than this one. At least from a storytelling perspective. This episode still had some good laughs, that conference room scene at the end was golden, but the writing was not great.
