[Early Access + Uncut] IT: Part 2 - Group Reaction

Bill Skarsgard really put his whole [redacted] into this role. Pennywise will never be the same!!! (Except for Tim Curry and ONLY Tim Curry)

It's ironic when Eddie accidently says "I love you mommy" when speaking to his wife on the phone. The actress playing his wife also played his mom in the first movie. FYI, there is a show being developed for MAX call "Welcome to Derry" that will dive into the backstory of Pennywise.

Robert Lyle

The guy playing adult Mike is Isaiah Mustafa, the same guy from the Old Spice commercials. “Ladies, look at me, now look at your man, now look at me.” 😭

Michael Pamon

It's easier to complain than read Champion lol

iJashin

Hmm ok fine I'll concede

Macs

They notified us in a post a while back that October would focus on seasonal horror films before returning to complete their past franchises.

dandelo is not "it" brother lmao they're of the same species but dandelo is extremely distant in relation both just being monsters from the void.. King himself stated that Gan created Maturin and Pennywise as equal powers and are responsible for the macroverse. Saying Maturin is stronger yet they've been in a constant stalemate since the beginning of time is funny. More evidence that they're equal is when Maturin only spectated the situation and gave partial insight to Bill while Gan the creator is the one who actually had to intervene and aided them in defeating "It". No matter how you look at it the way the novels are written "It' and Maturin are equals.. Good/Evil, Yin/Yang, Light,Dark they even die around the same time..

Kurumi

@Kurumi It is most definitely not equal to manturin, Manturin is one of the guardians of the beams, they meet ITs brother Dandelo they are powerful sure emotional vampires essentially, except IT feeds exclusively on fear and Dandelo has a more varied palate, neither are anywhere near Manturin levels idk why you'd think that, but yes IT most definitely has telepathy

Macs

True. I still mostly talking from the filmmaking stance. How Pennywise himself represents a horror movie maker. And the difficulties of trying keep scaring the people you used to be able to scare.

HouseDogget

Omnipotent: Infinitely powerful Omniscient: All Knowing Omnipresent: Everywhere at all times I have no clue about the Kingverse but if the author specifically states IT is an omnipotent being then they're an omnipotent being. He created the universe thus he set the rules. IT fits into the archetype of an omnipotent being; a god-like being that's all powerful but isn't all knowing nor isn't everywhere at all times. I'm assuming Steven King knows more about this stuff than random Patreon people do.

Chaos T

in the kingverse "it" is an omnipotent being its stated numerous times through multiple different king novels..although it is at a lower tier than Gan but still equal to Maturin

Kurumi

It is not omnipotent. Omnipotence means all powerful. Omnipotence is really hard to write because it is ineffable. Too far outside of human understanding. W/o omniscience omnipotence can never be used to its fullest capability meaning that it can not really be omnipotent. It is some form of deity but not omni anything. Nobody has any clue what the word literally means anymore.

Shawn Brink

I always read it as he can incept you, not really know what’s going on in your head. That people hear him because he’s always listening from the sewers and pipes.

HouseDogget

"It" actually does have telepathy it just doesn't work well on those with high will power & courage. It also has the power to see your memories and detect your emotions/state of mind. On top of that it has mind control and possession. "It" is literally one of the 3 omnipotent beings in the Kingverse lol. I recommend the novels for more info its a really interesting read

Kurumi

Personally I think the movie is making a comment on making horror movies. Sure it was easy to scare kids. But adults are full of complicated emotions. Pennywise is magical but isn't a mind reader. He doesn't actually know what scares you. A lot of the time he's taking a big swing. The biggest example is Eddy. Who's big fear already died. So when Pennywise keeps trying to come at him, it's super not effective. Then you have Bill, who the clown assumes would be destroyed after killing that kid in front of him. But just pisses him off. In the end. If you and your friends can stand around shit talking. There's not much film maker can do to try to scare you.

HouseDogget

FINALLY ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve never been happier for Spooky Season 🖤

@eric.na.goo.yen

I was worried Part 2 wouldn't be scary enough for Pat and Rana so I'm so glad I was wrong. 😂

Sickleweed

So F Kung Fu Panda 3?😂

MisRule

So this is funny: I subscribe to two different kinds of Patreons: reactors, and people who maps for tabletop RPGS. EDIT: I don't know what happened to the second half of my comment. Anyway the actual funny part is that the next thing right after this video on my feed is a map of some sewer tunnels somebody made for an RPG and the post title is "We All Float Down Here." It was a pretty funny coincidence.

Cory Stanish

Today I went to the cinema to see Saw X, it was very cool, I hope you react to the movie
