#Sundayrundown So we finally are at the end of Isaac's arc so here are some cool trivia if you might not know. 1. Isaac's appearance in the show is actually based off of "Adetokumboh M'Cormack" his VA. A few of the animated character designs are based off of their VAs like Peter Stormare for Godbrand. 2. The cool silver devil looking Night Creature that Isaac has on his side is named Abel, which was in-game Isaac's personal guardian Innocent Devil which is a contrast to in-game Hector's strongest Devil called "The End" being golden.

2023-09-18 19:05:59 +0000 UTCAgain Isaac has got to be the best character I've seen in a long time. Love his whole journey and just about every scene with him is amazing. As for Lenore my guess is that Streega and Mirana weren't just being dismisive, because Carmilla was just that powerful a Vampire. Remember we've seen all of Dracula's Generals get killed but besides Dracula himself, no one else exploded like that. No one even noticed when Godbrand died in the castle. My head cannon is that Dracula himself being weakend as he was is the only reason his death didn't take out his whole castle too. Lastly, not sure if it says more about me or Suraj, but I cracked up when he said "Carmilla Bing" XD Great episode and reaction Normies.

2023-09-18 18:18:49 +0000 UTCOne of my fav episodes because it shows the growth of Hector and especially Issac, Issac is easily one of the redemptive villain storylines I've seen in a while. Hector is ok, but Issac really steals this season.

2023-09-18 17:51:03 +0000 UTCIsaac's arc is one of the greatest redemption stories I've ever seen. It always felt like the writer wanted to give some of the best moments to him. From his chat with the captain, to his talks with fly eyes, to him his final chat with Hector where we see him have a genuine smile on his face. His final words of 'I'm going to live' feels like the perfect place to stop his story, and I'm so glad we got to see this amazing character develop.

2023-09-18 17:44:09 +0000 UTCCarmilla's death scene is my second favorite scene in the show (the first is coming soon) the animation, music, colors, and the badass line "you don't deserve my blood" it's simply fantastic. In my opinion she does a amazing job of being the antagonist after Dracula, and of course we got Isaac's arc (showing how he is the best written character in the show) we even got Morana and Striga riding to the sunset to be vampire lovers for eternity, unless they return in Nocturne which I hope doesn't happen since I think they got a nice clean ending, although they said they were riding west and if you didn't know far west of Wallachia is what would eventually be known as France. Either way this episode is one of the best in the show definitely top 3.

2023-09-18 17:04:18 +0000 UTCFor me, and I think, a lot of people, this is the best episode of Castlevania. It completes the arc, and cements Isaac as my favorite villain redemption story. His final speech puts not just his struggle but the effort it takes just to have a reason to live in such great perspective. I tear up every time. He changed but you can tell he's not just a new person altogether, he still has his respect for dracula and his hatred towards humanity. But he's grown up to see the other side of both, and now he can take an active part in changing his life and the world for the better, instead of just waiting for them both to be over.
