When peter b parker first came on screen the boys said "so thats nick from new girl not the first one." and navi and rana acknowledged. So I guess they wrote the comment immediately after hearing rana say the wrong thing and didnt even wait a few seconds lol.

The directors of these movies have said that the main theme is about the backlash towards the Miles Morales character and the general idea of a black Spiderman.
