I really appreciate Suraj pointing out and picking up on how dark Angel is getting. It's always been apart of the show's DNA but there's been a definite uptick ever since the Faith episodes, particularly when Angel tells Buffy that he's doing his own thing in LA. It's dark, but also realistic. If Buffy is about growing up in high school/college, then Angel is the first steps into adulthood after college, when it feels like there's so much potential for you to do but then you get trapped by reality and work and being an adult. Angel is a very philosophical show, and it's really starting to show that at the end of Season 1. more to come.

Adam was just a product of Maggie Walsh and the United States government. I don't view him as the big bad because he's just doing what's in his nature and what was programmed in him. The real antagonists in season four were humans and group conflict.

#SundayRundown This episode of Young Justice introduces us to Ty Longshadow aka Apache Chief, one of a few superheroes created for the Superfriends cartoon in the 70s. In that show he has the ability to grow in size kinda like Giant-Man. He also has a hilarious appearance in the show Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law where he is suing a coffee shop for spilling hot coffee on his crotch, thus preventing his ability to grow

whatever is in her? its giles, xander and willow bonded with buffy for the ultimate scooby. it was xander's idea "we need to be close to cast the spell but we are all too vulnerable unlike buffy. so lets jump into buffy's body and use willow's powers with giles' knowledge." thats why buffy was casting spells in sumerian. the energy to do all that was from the group and maybe one other source......... spidey got it right away. dont get why they think its some other force or diety outside of the scoobies themselves.

# Sunday Rundown This episode we discover that Buffy’s friends each represent different aspects of her Xander (her heart), Giles (her mind), Willow (her soul) Marti Noxon (one of the main writers and producers) says that depending on which of these characters is suffering in the story that indicates what Buffy is dealing with For example: In the first episode when Buffy is stressed about College it’s only when she finally meets up with Xander again (her heart) that she finally feels hopeful again This might just be the writers stroking their ego but it is more or less consistent across most seasons and I do think the writers make these three have ultra specific connections with Buffy that affect her in different ways, kind of like Bojack with his friends

fun fact: devastation is a wonder woman villain made to be her direct copy and antithesis. like wonder woman she was made from clay and while wonder woman was blessed by the olympian goddesses (and hermes) to get her powers (strenght of earth from demeter, flight and speed from hermes, oneness with animals from artemis which allows her to speak to them doctor doolittle style, etc), devastation was blessed by the "unknown children of cronus" aka made up gods. as children of cronus they are akin to their olympians brethren. what i always found cool about her is we got to see her age in real time. like each time she fought diana and cassie (wonder girl) she would be older. at first a toddler then a teen then an adult. they DEEPLY depowered her for the show and made her look less cute and more like a female version of blockbuster. always dug her design especially her cuirass which had a scimitar in the shape of saturn's symbol on her chest. SO BADASS! here are what devastation's powers should be: Harrier gave the gift of speed and flight Disdain gave the gift of beauty and the ability to control emotions Titan gave strength and the gift to create earthquakes Slaughter gave the precision of the killer and the knowledge of the way to immediately kill any living thing Arch gave the gift of a cunning strategist's mind that flows like quicksilver Oblivion gave the gift to enter one's memory and shape it to her will (which allowed her to create illusions including around her body effectively making her a shapeshifter. think aizen of bleach or mastermind of the hellfire club/brotherhood of mutants)

#SundayRundown - Another fun Young Justice episode. Amazing timing that the episode reaction that features more direct screen time with Jaime Reyes/Blue Beatle drops the day before the Blue Beatle movie 💙. I really enjoy his portrayal in this show and I believe this show helped his character popularity grow over time with people. It was also dope to see the all girls mission with M’Gann, WonderGirl, Bumble Bee & Batgirl 🔥

For Young Justice Sunday Rundown hopefully, You guys actually have seen the big female villain "Devastation" before, she was in that prison beak episode in Belle Reve Prison in season 1. Also to avoid any confusion the Justice League now has a shield around earth to prevent aliens for teleporting to Earth via "Zeta-Beam" teleportation. However Nightwing makes it clear that "Boom-Tube" teleportation can still get through the shield. You guys didn't make that mistake, but it's a little confusing that there's two different ways to teleport in this show. So bad guys using zeta-beam teleportation now impossible, bad guys using boom tube teleportation still possible.

Rana was right. There were STAIRS down to the Initiative. We just never saw them. In the Hush episode, Riley and Forrest were about to be killed in the elevator because they couldn’t speak the access code. Professor Walsh had to override it and when Riley and Forrest got out of the elevator she pointed to the “In case of Emergency use stairway” sign. #RanaVIP 😂😂

# Sunday Rundown. I never saw this episode so I was surprised to see an indigenous sub plot in YJ lol I'm Canadian and indigenous or Native American for those who are more familiar with that terminology I laughed when Navi thought about a music band when the band refers to the adminstarion services for our communities. It's always weird to see representation especially in animated shows not that's it's bad just that I'm always "like Is that suppose to be me?" I wonder how many other people feel that way

This Buffy Def felt like a season ender but the next one is such a cool concept, I'm not mad at it. Also, Buffy going full neo mode was so badass and definitely shows how important all members of the team are, as we see Buffy become extremely powerful when joined with the other 3. Can't wait for you guys to get into s5, it's a great season 😊

#SundayRundown#Young Justice Interesting idea: Could we have the Peacemaker Normies watch Young Justice? I would love to see Rana, Nikki and Pat watch this (Pat would definitely be ok with Megann turning aliens into brain dead vegetables) and have Suraj take notes or explain any confusing parts to the others. Also, it would be really interesting to have the moments where certain phrases are said or actions are taken and see Suraj noticing those moments on his second viewing. P.S. while watching this second season, it becomes more obvious that this show may have been a cartoon but it was never really geared towards children (more young adult and adult themes; explains why toy sales shouldn’t be a deciding factor for cancelling cartoon shows) Navi and Nikki are so beautiful!
