I recently rewatch it in the anime, and it wasn't bad, but it has a very different tone from the rest of Bleach. You can even see elements of the Fullbringer arc inspire JJK

AMAZING and beautiful

2023-08-08 03:05:41 +0000 UTCAs someone who has seen both Angel and Buffy during their OG runs it brings me joy to see people enjoying it now so many years after the fact. One main thing that i always loved about these series is the heroes aren't prefect, in many ways they are flawed. Buffy for example is Childish, Self-Rightous, Self-Centered and Entilted and these flaws are displayed through out the entire series.

2023-08-07 02:21:59 +0000 UTCNow that you guys are balls deep in DC and have seen more of the weirder characters I would love for you guys to finally finish reacting to Doom Patrol. The first season especially is so good. It’s starts off feeling goofy for goofy’s sake in the beginning just like Peacemaker, but then it’s gets a lot deeper as it goes on just like Peacemaker. The topics it touches on get heavvyy but they’re handled in a great way that’s tasteful. Plus the performances are really good. I know you guys would love this show, just gotta give it a chance. It’s another one of DC’s crown jewels. 👍

This show is from the 90s 97 to be exact lasted 5 seasons and was really funny from what I remember, even my father watched and liked it.(and Excuse my vinacular but even as straight nixxas we watch and enjoyed it and that's saying something in the 90s.

In just 40 years we've seen a massive spike in technological achievement and can't imagine what technology will look like 40-100 years from now. Humans are extremely adaptable to the circumstances it finds itself in.

Bount Arc: This arc is the most hated by everyone especially coming right after such an iconic arc like soul society arc. Me personally the arc wasn't bad I actually enjoyed it, though it is long and kinda dragged out but of all the filler arcs I'd rank this the lowest. The other filler arcs are just better. New Captain Arc (Shusuke Amagai): This arc was fire imo. Zanpakuto Rebellion: Like the comment said, easily the best out of the filler arcs, on a general consensus everyone pretty much loves this arc. You guys should definitely watch this perhaps after you finish Bleach, so once you're done with TYBW. Maybe do a poll. The Bleach movies are amazing too ofc. (Only 4 movies) Gotei 13 Invading Army: The second best filler arc imo, this arc was amazing. I respectfully disagree with the comment saying it was forgettable. If I were to rate best to least best: Zanpakuto Rebellion arc, Gotei 13 Invading Army arc, New Captain arc, then Bount arc. One thing about Bleach, they have good filler with dope stories. Fullbringer arc: As you seen they were joking lol. This arc is canon you guys will eventually watch this.

You literally can't skip it because then the story won't make any sense, idk why that person even brought it up in the first place lol terrible running joke

Frustration with society shouldn't make people abandon reason. This series showed the Butterflies infiltrated and killed children to achieve their goals. There's nothing "reasonable" about that.

I was joking about Ted’s flight being long! But maybe his plane crashed in the Atlantic and he survived w/his friend “Nike” by his side as they slowly sailed to the U.S. And he was still happy & optimistic throughout the whole thing.

I think it's meant to make you make your own mind up, because there are reasonable arguments to be made both ways. In fact James Gunn himself seems to almost err on the side of the butterflies in interviews, citing anti-climate change and then the anti-vax/anti-mask movement happening during covid infuriating him as he was writing the show, he wanted to write a layered "villain" with a just cause but questionable methods. Also specifically mentioning how Peacemaker just believes anything he reads on facebook as an indictment of the general public's reaction to climate control and vaccines.

The Butterflies had their chance to improve their own society and wasted it by destroying their planet. They have no right to determine humanity's fate nor should humanity trust their ability to get it right this time around when the track record shows they have a 100% failure rate. The Butterflies aren't the Federation from Star Trek where they proved itself to have a track record of making right decisions thus we can give them the benefit of doubt on their actions. If they're willing to kill innocent people including children to achieve their goal, their decision making should be questioned. The Butterflies claim they want to fix the planet from the results of human decision making yet they use an extreme human tactic to achieve those goals. That shows me they haven't intellectually evolved much from what they were when their planet was destroyed.

Some of their opinions are helpful, there are some good filler arcs, but the arcs go very out of the way to disrupt the flow of the canon stuff. They should be considered after you guys finish Bleach imo. Also, the Fullbring arc is literally not filler, there's a part of the fanbase that wants to say it's filler but it's from the manga so it's quite obviously canon.

Some soul reapers were people that died, but due to high reitsu they begin to age and become soul reapers, living for hundreds to thousands of years depending on how much they have, but some soul reapers, were born in the soul society, such as byakuya.
