Kaitlin Olsen's physical comedy skills are legendary!

Nikki Sonrisa

Lando never won the Falcon from Han. Han tried to beat him to get it for a mission, but Lando cheated and ended joining them on the mission after Qi'ra and Tobias persuaded him with money, then later Han cheated Lando out of the Falcon.

16 seasons to date. season 16 starts in june

rickie woodson

the actress is aisha hinds. you should know her from true blood as miss jeanette the voodoo lady from season one who helped tara's mom get rid of her "demon". that, weeds and small guest appearances like she did in sunny are the only roles i know with true blood being the biggest.

I’m not sure if they have brought this up but I think Rana (and Suraj since he is watching Rebels) would like to know the actress who voices Sabine plays Good Eleanor/Vickey in The Good Place - Tiya Sircar! Also episodes that are Hera centric are always my favorite - so glad each member of the crew gets to shine!

I’m with Chaos. It is an incredibly complex topic, from system to system and individual to individual, and NUANCE is key to such things. Going the whole “right wing propaganda” or “left wing propaganda” route to shut down people with a different viewpoint is immature and takes the discussion nowhere.

Champion Bescos

I hate the debate of welfare and pandemic assistance has been a polarizing right vs. left debate ever since I can remember. It's a complicated issue that's oversimplified by "muh you listen to this propaganda.... fool". What Suraj said isn't necessarily incorrect but Navi is correct as well. There have always been people taking advantage of the system and it's naive to believe otherwise. I saw it working over a decade for the Federal government. However I agree with Legion the rhetoric in recent years by right wing pundits is sociopathic and untrue. It's silly to believe people don't want to work. Personal survival depends on it unless you're retired or have a disability. Should we have Universal Basic Income? Maybe and it will probably get to that point sometime in our future. However, it's also true printing money at an unsustainable rate ruins entire economy's and country's for that matter; history proves that many many times. There's many things that cause inflation but the #1 way inflation happens is by continuing to print fiat currency and we're seeing the aggregate impact of that with how insane inflation is at the moment. The United States added at least six trillion to the debt since the start of COVID (a big chunk of that time under a "conservative administration which is comically per the usual with Republican presidents). Now that China's trying to compete with the dollar as the world reserve currency, I don't think the United States can print money the way it has since the 50's/60's and we're going to have to make some really tough financial choices as a country. Things like Universal Basic Income just isn't realistically feasible at this point in US history and no...the US isn't going to cut the military budget now that China is viewed as a military threat by the powers that be. If anything, we're going to see an increase in military spending to Cold War type levels.

This is the episode I got fully on board with IASIP. "Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare" is a great 30 minutes of TV and the episode I recommend to people who aren't familiar with the show.

Chaos T

That's more of an indictment of the owners of fast food restaurants than of welfare. They should have been paying their workers more. Who would want to go back to work at a place that exploits you by paying so little? I did indeed pay attention to how the right-wing were framing the entire thing and a lot of it was sociopathic discussion about how people don't want to work anymore and to get them back to work, we need to cut the benefits programs to starve them so that they would have to get a job. At any rate, that extra money helped workers more than anything in the past several decades and it's something that should be continued. We should even have Universal Basic Income Of course, they also forgot that COVID killed a lot of people and have also disabled even more to where there just aren't enough workers. Right now, well after the unemployment benefits went back to normal, there still aren't enough workers. Additionally, a lot of these businesses have been putting up fake positions to hire for because they would get more money from the government. The working class weren't being lazy and living off the fat of the government; that's what the rich do. If you actually did some research, you would also understand that giving the working class more money makes the economy stronger. When the worker gets extra money, they will spend it which increases the GDP and every single dollar they spend goes much further than when its given to businesses and the rich. That's the number one reason why they gave us the stimulus. Without people to pay for anything, the economy crashes. Fact of the matter is, during the pandemic, workers lost about 3.7 trillion dollars collectively while the rich got 3.9 trillion richer. The money they got to get richer came from us. Whole Foods denied their workers getting sick pay and its owner ended up getting richer. Right wing propaganda that posits people as being lazy for being on welfare is sociopathic and untrue. People want to work. People are working. They just don't want to be exploited as much

Legion

What? If you worked at McDonalds at the lowest level you were making near 1000 dollars a week with unemployment benefits. You got regular unemployment plus 600 a week. There were also multiple stimulus checks. That is not including Snaps and medicaid. Section 8 if you have a kid. They also didn't tax the unemployment like they normally do. The next year you got 300 a week and whatever you made working as long as you didnt make more than 500 bucks a week. Or 300 a week plus unemployment if you declined to go back to work. Sounds like you should listen to more right wing media because left wing propaganda has done a number on you. There was no incentive to go back to work to make less money. That is why every fast food joint and restaurant had to massively increase their wages. It is also what led them to increase their prices. This is all very basic stuff. Restaurants are still not at full staff. Anyone that received unemployment during the pandemic would know all of this.

Shawn Brink

You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

Joe Mama

We should also keep in mind that most of the welfare that is issued in the US goes to corporations. The money given to businesses overshadows the unemployment or SNAP benefits. The politicians made much hay about unemployment benefits, but barely said anything about the PPP loans that had been forgiven (like millions of dollars forgiven to a single business). It makes sense once you realize that the government as it is today in the United States functions as a way to take money from the working class and give it to the capitalist class. Also, I want to say that I'm not a fan of saying "for those who really need it" when it comes to welfare. It makes it so that when you actually do need to use it, you're less likely to because you think that there are others more deserving of it. We saw this happen with the $1200 we got from the government during the pandemic. Some people felt that they shouldn't get it and it should go to people more deserving. It's been something that has challenged mutual aid funds I donate to, as well, even though we say you can use it, no questions asked.

I haven't watched it yet... but knowing these guys all seem pretty liberal (except pat maybe) now youve piqued my interest.

Am I buggin or did you guys skip episode 2X3 of Sunny? It’s “The Gang Gives Back.” Or does Hulu have them out of order?

Joe Mama

Good on the girl in the middle for correcting the record

Nathan Avara

Whoooaa the right wing propaganda about pandemic assistance has done a number on some of the couch

Nathan Avara

Since rana said chopper is the best, and would die on that hill. The question is who’s better chopper or R2D2

Sonicluis

Tom Brady did not buy a yacht with PPP money lol, PPP Loans went out in April, he purchased a yacht in December. People just fell for headlines "Tom Brady buys yacht after receiving PPP loans" Like yeah I guess December is after April but they're in no way connected and the headline is implying he got the loan then immediately drove down to a dealership while rubbing his hands together and laughing

HeavenlyR

I think the scene of Dennis and Dee on the stoop singing "Just a Friend" was the moment that this show fully hooked me.

Jeff K

“AWWWW DID SOMEBODY GET ADDICTED TO CRACK??” 😂 This show is too funny man I’ve watched it so many times and every episode still makes me laugh my ass off
