2023-05-27 04:01:59 +0000 UTCWhen you saw the camera man I thought "oh no they are watching the converted to HD and wide screen" Angel and Buffy were shot on wide screen film then edited to what was then a regular TV 4:3. When the shows were sold to syndication someone had the bright idea to make them wide screen and HD. So now we see things never meant to be in frame.

Parents were looking at the bill trying to figure out what those charges were. I was in big trouble when they figured it out. 😂

Angel takes a bit of time to settle in, but the central trio are such great characters together. As for dorm rooms, I’m forever grateful this sharing a room wasn’t a thing for me in the uk. Maybe some universities here do it, but mine didn’t, so we all had a room on a floor with shared kitchens and bathrooms. I’d have hated sharing a room with a stranger.

Since she didn't know who Dick Grayson is Artemis was confused as hell at the random boy taking a selfie with her. In Downtime episode 8 she was invited to go to Gotham Academy under a Bruce Wayne scholarship program. It's implied that Batman/Bruce sent her the scholarship, because Artemis was confused about how she got a scholarship she never applied for. Finally their base Mount Justice is in Happy Harbor, Rhode Island. Robin and Artemis live in Gotham, Wally lives in Central City. They commute instantly to Happy Harbor via teleportation devices called Zeta Tubes. Seemed like some of you thought their base was in Gotham. This show is a lot to keep track of, but those little tiny details are super useful.

I mean they legit haven't done their laundry but once in the 4 months i've lived with them. The worst is that they home through the week well into the am, drunk off her ass waking me up, when I work in the morning. Reneged on everything we specifically agreed on before I moved in with them. I'm finally escaping this hell at the end of the month.

Unlike MartianManHunter and the Flash, Wally and Megan cant phase through things yet, and Kryptonians indeed need to breath. Wally and Connor were saying those things to taunt the Reds, but they were not true. Loved the reaction as always, just trying to clear any confusion.

2023-04-06 15:57:49 +0000 UTCOkay so just to clarify a little bit the reason why Artemis was surprised when Robin showed up was because she doesn't know his secret identity no one knows that Robin is Dick Grayson because if they know who Robin is it can lead people to find out who Batman is and Batman secret identity is only known by very high members of the Justice League so no one knows Robin's secret identity that's why even when they're chilling out at the base he still wears his mask.

Back in the day we didn't have phone plans like today and the landline phone bill was itemized showing (date/time/length of call/price ) for each call plus any additional charges, local/state taxes, collect calls, even 411 information calls. I had a roommate that was like that with the phone bill. Yup, fun times. Great Reactions. Thank You!

2023-04-06 14:55:18 +0000 UTCFun fact about this second episode of Angel. Originally it was titled Corrupt and much different and darker. In Corrupt Kate was an undercover cop addicted to drugs and worked as a prostitute to fuel that addiction. WB and the creators of the show both thought it was too dark and bleak so they rewrote the episode to be a bit lighter, cause they didn’t want the show to be as dark as the original script for the second episode got. Apparently, some elements of that script got put into later episodes of the show, but I stopped watching around episodes 7-10, this was around 11 years ago, and I never returned to the series as I decided I only wanted to watch Buffy.
