The Kyomin are a fictional race of mystical creatures.

With bodies forged to withstand cataclysmic war, and spirits nurtured to overcome the greatest of fears, the tyrants of Magna formed these vessels of mana and love to foster struggling allies, and vanquish the strongest foes.

• New mage VRC Contacts Update
  • The Kyomin channel their magic powers through special candlelight. Share your flame!
  • The candles are imbued with mystical minerals. Be sure load up your lantern and Shillelagh!
  • Candles and flames can be shared with each other.
  • Give cheers to your fellow Kyomin! Cups now fill when you clink together! You can also tilt your cup to pour and share your drink with others~ Remember: Never Drink Alone!
  • Getting too hot in here? Douse the flame with that precious mana-liquid! No need to overheat.
  • Grab your hat to salute your fellow Kyomin!
• New Sharkie-Kyomin Alt Version
  • The sea of mana flooding the lands of Magna is full of mysteries and secrets... some Kyomin enter and never return. Rumor has it, after drowning in the ocean, their bodies were forced to change and adapt to the overwhelming cascade of liquid mana surrounding them.
  • Alternate Body Texture and Blend shapes to give your Kyomin a shark-vibe :3
• +1 new Hat!
  • I've added an additional that is a variant of the regular small "cap". This new hat is a "Peaked" Cap, reminiscent of an officer or captain's hat.
• More Expressive!
  • The goggles have been revamped to be expressive and reflect the Kyomin's expression underneath the goggles.
  • Added an additional "Judgement Stare" expression -_- Give em the looks!
• Still Good performance Rating!
  • I squeezed as much as I could into this update. There are some wild caveats and work-arounds I've used to stay within the maximum number of allowed contacts available for a "Good" performance rating. It's probably the most complicated thing I've tried on an avatar, but thanks to my friends and everyone who's helped test during the final stages, it's now fully functional and optimized!
• Mage Outfit UV Update!
  • In order to make room for some of the new stuff, I've moved around some things on the Mage outfit texture. If you had a custom outfit texture for the Mage outfit, you may have to move some things around to fit it in the new update. (robes have been adjusted, goggles shrunken and moved, etc)
• All of this is available in the "Kyomin_vrc_V2.zip" in the downloads for FREE!
  • The zip contains the unity package and another zip containing an updated "Texture Resources" collection, in case you don't have Photoshop and want to edit layers individually in your favourite image editing software :)
  • This update is not yet available for quest.
  • This update should work in an original V1 Kyomin project, however I would still HIGHLY recommend making a brand-new project for this update. Make sure to import the latest VRC-SDK and Poiyomi v7.3.046 (or similar) before importing the kyomin_pc_V2.unitypackage
  • In any case, the public version of the Kyomin (available in my VRC World "Fort Hollowvalley") has been updated and includes the additional Shark Variant for those aquatic folk~

This package contains the Kyomin avatar for use in VRChat. Designed with a low-poly aesthetic that relies on shaders and animations to deliver a unique, retro-inspired style, without sacrificing a user's expression or mobility.

The Kyomin avatar's Fur can be modified and adjusted on the fly!

The mage outfit has customizable hats and goggles for swapping out your style on the go!

Quest version (V1 Kyomin only) included!

Instructions:
Requires VRC Avatars 3.0 SDK and Poiyomi Toon Shaders (Please use Poiyomi v7.3.xx) to be imported into a fresh Unity project before uploading.

Physics Bones and Contacts Compatible!!
For the latest physics bones, contacts, and fur-customization update, please download the "kyomin_vrc_V2" file! (For the old version that requires Dynamic bone, and the quest-compatible Kyomin, please download original "kyomin_vrc.zip")

I've also included a zip file containing a bunch of resources for customizing your own Kyomin textures in case you are unable to open the PSDs included in the unitypackages. (this is included in the V2 Download)
