Hallo everynyan, happy cherry crush fridays again!!

I've always say the first 3 episodes of a season is the most important, as much as i wanna stay in cherie crush domesticity this episode's gotten move the plot forward finally..! Now that I've established Cherie and Crush's life so far I need to show where the Syndicate is after they've left, the group's still loyal to Chohan and I wanna show the consequences of Cherie suddenly up and leaving his branch as well, the way Chohan handled that was pretty uncharacteristic from the "super nice and kind boss" persona that everyone thought he was, and obviously I've already showed Tez wavering, but I wanna show another character with connections to Cherie Crush wavering as well, and that's obviously Miss Mae!! Miss Mae grew up with Crush and was used to socialize him when he was a baby so of course they'd have a special connections, I also wanna show how Crush is on meds vs off meds bc the topic of medications and mental health is pretty sensitive and I wanna show that they're not a cure, just tools for people who struggle to self-manage better, obviously things are gonna be different from people to people, but for someone like Crush who grew up with psychological issues and violent habits, meds help him A LOT, and that correlates to how he associate Cherie with fixing him so deeply, to the point that he'd quit meds after meeting Cherie again in s2, I also wanna show that Miss Mae is also not as put-together as she seems either, none of the characters in Cherry Crush are tbh.. The first 4 episodes of this season was to catch everyone up to speed with all the characters and how they've been doing, but i wanna have a strong foundation before moving to the melodrama stuff, cause it gets real melodramatic later dksjfsdjk, i think everyone's gonna hate me soon...😭

Obviously teasing Thorne around is kinda fun i knowww how curious people are of his backstory BUT PLS JUST WAIT OKAY I'LL GET TO IT EVENTUALLY PLS TRUST ME, IM HOLDING UR HAND THROUGH MY SUPER CONVOLUTED OC PLOT AND I PROMISE IT'LL ALL MAKE SENSE IN THE END..!! One of the frustration of doing weekly episodic release is that i'd get comments being confused bc of (plot thread that hasn't been explained yet) and Im like PLSSS JUST WAIT I'LL GET TO THAT I PROMISE, im sure if anyone's been here during my nine month hiatus you'd remember i was going crazy organizing plot points bc there was just so much lore to go through 😭😭 but i swear i'll go through all of them and by the end of the webtoon you'll have known everything there is to know, it's just a matter of time .. I really wish i could just take a year long hiatus to do the entire season and then post them up in one go but that's not how webtoon or patreon works, i think cherry crush was made more for binge watchers than weekly casual readers so i'm flopping but at least I can pay the bills.. Balancing between POVs is tricky though bc everytime i cut to a new character i'm like bruh nobody gaf i wanna see what cherie and crush are doing, if i could i'd love to just draw them being sweet on each other all the time but that'll put the plot in limbo forever and I wanna tell their story not just their fluff.. 😭tbh i think cherie crush is so fluffy precisely bc they are equally as angsty, the hurt comfort paradox...
