Hallo everynyan.. it is... Monday 😭 Im so sorry for taking so freaking long .. my drawing output has been really disappointing lately, it's abt to be the end of the side comic next week and the grind for season 4 begins and Im sooooo scared guys what if everyone forgor already... its gonna flop so bad but it's okay.. I can only hope that I do a good job but it's looking really cooked rn bc i draw SO.FREAKING.SLOW like holy shit I used to be able to grind out 100+panels a week PLUS art while working two jobs and now I cant do a panel without my shoulder screaming, i think might need to go to the doctor but i am american so... 💀
On the bright side, i really wanted to experiment with the kangshiro comic.. I mixed the season 1 b/w style and added the tone from season 2-3 to hopefully make it looks fancy but with less effort, den for the tone of the story i've just been testing the limit on how unrealistic i can get without compromising the plot too much 😭 i definitely feel like Kang being so silly and unserious makes it a lot easier as well saur.. thank u kang.. I already said this before but i find it so hard to ship my own two OCs like it took me a longggggggggggg time to ship Cherie and Crush becaus Ive just been treating them so much like coworkers (they still are) that I dont even think of them as characters anymore.
That being said though I honestly cannot wait to draw Cherie and Crush again in season 4 like it's so fucked up that Kang and Mashiro are the characters i struggle with drawing the most .. When I started drawing this side comic, I was like.. "yeah i take forever to get their hair right 99% of the time, but I'll learn, It's like 10+ episodes, surely I'd get better at drawing by then, right?" WRONG. It never fucking gets better guys, I still take forever to draw their stupid hair (kang too spiky/too soft/too long/too short vs Mashiro too round/too flat/too mushroom/ too fuckass bob) and I still take forever to draw backgrounds, im not ranting just really frustrated tbh... Drawing comic is so hard guys I really really respect comic artists so much 😭😭😭😭 Sorry for complaining a lot this post It's just been really a really hard couple weeks with this art block and my shoulder hasnt gotten better at all.
BUT KANGSHIRO ... FINALLY....RIGHT? Took them for fucking ever... When I used to ship characters (War cat. jpeg) I always found the yearning part the best part of a romance.. but endless yearning that goes nowhere was quite common (especially in like.. old asian soap operas and dramas) and dat used to piss me off so bad😭So i always want there to be a kiss in my romance and actual definitive confirmation that they're together together bc i got so sick of the leads in the soap operas i watched finally realizing their feelings and then immediately dont talk ever..... like what....
