If your players have capabilities of wiping yout Rom's Children such as Fireball and similar spells I think you won't have too worry about it. They are incredibly fragile creatures since they got only 16 hit points. One cast of fireball should kill any caught in the area of effect. So if your group got some crowd control options, I'd say they can handle her.

2024-03-07 09:14:07 +0000 UTCI'm using Bloodborne (set before the game, but with the same monsters) as a overall plotline for my campaign. Now my adventurers ventured towards either The One Reborn or Rom, the Vacous Spider a bit before I had anticipated. They are a balanced 5x7L adventures with average 2 rare items per person (so more equipment than standard). Would you recommend either fight from your experience, or should I debuff the monsters a bit to make it easier? In general they have faired pretty good when I have balanced your monsters to their lvl. On L6 they killed Vicar Amelia, Micolash & Bloodstarved Beast (with 2 Scourge as backup). I know it's a hard question, but the official calculator calls both of these fights 'Deadly' even though I know that doesn't mean much. I personally lean towards having them fight Rom because The One Reborn have the instant-kill attack that might be difficult for them to handle before they are a bit higher lvl.
